Why would they need to download something which could be easily found using Google images? A download shows either an interest or an intention of reverting EME's changes.
because they can? because 3D + animation > 2D no animation to form an educated opinion? these mods might mess some stuff ingame, btw, as the files are actually smaller than the official EU/US client files.
Why would you assume the last closed beta when I specifically said, "When the beta went out in Korea" and "before this website even existed" I think that was back in late 2009.
Perhaps you should read and comprehend the posts you are responding to before making irrational and irrelevant posts.

hm, so you claim that in 2009 there were already pictures of elin on the net? i joined in mai 2010, quite some time later, but there was hardly any info about elin at all apart from them being reworked multiple times until mid summer 2010, from what i remember. care to show some proof to the "word of mouth"?
Is it very likely that forum posts from the Korean beta would still be around? If there are Im certainly not going to look for them so I can show them to some duffus who needed specific parts of a post quoted for him to read them. Nor would I link them to you for the possibility you may actually go there and start posting.

well, that's really unexpected :-) that's fine, though, as it all would probably end up in a discussion about US vs KR mmo art style, social norms and whatnot again anyways.
@choppa: ha, thanks, finally some substancial info. they weren't playable for some time, though, same as aman female, weren't they?
p.s.: wait, was there more than a single head picture? it would be hilarious if they were hyped on this detail alone xD

What ballpark numbers are you hoping for that would match that kind of assumption? 5? 20? 50 people downloading that mod with the intent of "actually" using it to mod the in-game graphical assets?
But let's say you're right. Let's try to use an existing statistical example to best represent a "curious" percentage say... this?
Based on this poll about 83% of the voting audience are in favor of retaining the old Elin armors. Need I remind you that this poll at the time was made in a sub-forum section dedicated to the Elin race leaving you with a 17% curious Elin audience.
So... if we take 83% of the 2500 we get... about 2085 people likely there to download the mod with the intention of altering EME graphical assets.
Keep in mind though that the 17% I'm giving to you is extremely generous. The percentage of people who go through the trouble of searching for someplace that hosts such mods only to download it out of "curiosity" is likely far more lower than that.

Female popori was confirmed during Gstar 2009 presentation
I know I always download mods for MMOs and risk the possibility of getting banned to view changes made to player characters that I have no interest in playing. Who doesnt?
