back when they first released the info that this was being implemented i raged quite a bit. i put out the idea of making it optional and i also put out the idea of making being able to make the collars be gone or down. it didnt get that much of a posative reaction back then either. i dont know why people keep saying "just pick a differnt armor then". you obviously havent seen many of the armor models as MOST of them have a high collar that forces your hair up. so your saying i should have to pick between a handful of lower lvl armors if i want the hair i originally picked??? go look at the new high lvl armors. as others have already said, 9/10 of those armors have a high collar. how is that fair at all? did u know that only like 2 or 3 male high elf cloth armors dont have a high collar? give us an option to pick our up do, give us an option to make the collars go down, give us an option to put our characters hair up or down... i hate how tera forces this on people. i made my character a certain way and the devs are forcing me to change that.

It's the game designers aesthetic choice, I don't get why people are constantly raging about things like this. The company made a decision to design the armor this way. Not going to tell you to go to a different game ( cause that is silly ) but people should realize that this is how the game has been made, EME/Bluehole can not take the time to make every single person happy with every aspect of the game.

There are options for you to use, pick a short hairstyle, change your armor template. These are the things they put in the game to address this issue. Is it perfect, no, but its there for you to use or not use. I have seen the endgame armors, I love them all, having a hard time choosing which I'll want to pick.

Noone is complaining about the armor's aesthetic choice, quite the opposite. We have at our disposal the ability to have 2 seperate hairstyles. Our point? We want to use the new armor models, we just want the option to wear hair up or down.

EME/Bluehole's aesthetic choice was to have the hair up with the big collars, which I am rather grateful for myself. Some people like the high collars, some don't. You want to use the high end armors, use them how they were designed.

It's fine to have armors require hair to be up - it's just a basic flaw in the design of the game. But allow us to choose an up-do as a normal hairstyle. I like the side-ponytail Elin, but it's not like you can get that unless you get a collared shirt.

there are good arguments on both sides. I personally think folks should have the option to override the hair up force. If it looks really odd due to the clipping then everyone who cares about their appearance will most likely deal with it.
Thankfully as Aman (f) I don't have that issue, just have the double tails which , so far, haven't changed..
Best of both worlds might be a collar choice (high/low) with the high collar armor then hair can stay the way it is...

Remove collars and remove updo, and suddenly the game is perfect.

I wouldn't say that, i actually quite like some of the up do's.

Probably sarcasm but agreed. If there are really no good looks at higher levels I might even quit :\ Especially since Elin have literally zero even remotely decent looking short hairstyles. Hell, MOST of the shorter hairstyles in this game look [filtered] horrible. But especially theirs. -.-
