Has the Elin/Popori Lore been changed for this version?

The Popori and Elin are different races in KTera lore. I am not sure where you are hearing that they are the same race mechanically, as they are separate races in the race select screen and in any listing of the 7 races.

They have the same racial skills. The client files list anything elin related as "Popori_F".

They are indeed seperate races however, but they are very closely tied in the Lore. Both created by the goddess Elinu.

Wrong. The Popori were created by the Elins.

In KTera lore both the Elin and Popori are creations of Elinu

You're going by the NA versions dumbed down version of Lore. The actuality was what I posted.

I guess because if they were both created by the Goddess and appeared on the same race line in the character creator (as seems to be the case in Korea) then not only would the hint of bestiality be added to the mix but the hint of incest also, which, of course, would have been too much for the Western mind.

If you read the dev notes from a interview regarding why Elins have 2 sets of ears they mentioned that Elins started out as female counterpart to Porpori's but quickly turn out too hard to create a female look to the race so they ended scraped the entire idea and when with a more child like look. Two second set of ears were most likely due to a miscommunication during development and no they do not plan on changing it as of now.

I guessing lore was changed accordingly.

As of why the NA version have a entire separate tab for the two races of same nation/origin it is up in the air.
