since it looks like were getting MS paint elin armor can we get the go ahead to be able to mod the armor files client side?

since hey i can mod the hell out of skyrim to be how i want...no one seems to have a problem with that

just make it so using the ORIGINAL >GAME< files is allowed, not like its hacked or something just the originals, not custom or anything just the original file......original...cuz atm their attempt at the armors is ummm horrid

They'll never say it is OK. But on the other hand, it isn't like they can complain if you use TERA files when playing TERA.

Unless of course that Crisp Thinking anti cheat program they'll be using does a file check whenever you log on. Then you're pretty likely to be screwed.

I Disagree with this 100%...and MMO is supposed to be unique, youre supposed the bust your [filtered] for the gear your character crafts/earns...thats what i always like about MMO's was the uniqueness of armor.

Which will be circumvented within a couple of days I'm sure. WoW in cataclysm put a ton of effort to block modding with their new file system, And all they really succeeded in doing was making it a little more complex to install custom mods for the toons. They arent gonna spend recources and excessive development time to block character modding unless it's being used to somehow gain an unfair advantage in the game world (IE: Model swapping large doors for windows so you can gain access to places your not supposed to go. ect)

I honestly don't understand why this censorship is really so bad to so many people that the forums have to explode a second time with censorship complaints, but whatever.
Modding is against the ToS. Anyone caught will be banned.

There's nothing to understand really. There's a bunch of whiners complaining about a few millimeters of flesh colored pixels being covered, then there's a few semi-reasonable people who don't mind the covers so much but want them to have high quality designs although they're still complaining despite EME saying the designs won't be final until the game's released.

You know, i'm fine how it is now. I would be fine with the original, and i would be fine with a touched up version too. I just with a mod would come and say either "it's done suck it", "we're working on it still" or somthing along those lines so it would atleast put a bit of a stop to these [filtered] storms on the forums.

They did a long time ago on the old forums >.> back when people flipped out over the shorts shown at the open house they said the designs are subject to change until the game's release. The people just never stopped whining.
