But what I'm saying is if the bigger races wanted more range why could they not do the same motions an elin does? Why can a highelf not swing back, then swing forward, following through with their body. I have read that article, which is one of the reasons I made this post to begin with. That article was released in March. There have been no race balances since then. Because they claim they are balancing it but it is quite clear it is unbalance because elin has smallest hit box and longest range yet have no logic explanation for it.

Cause of animation motion this is not your standard mmo that everybody has the same animation, different character has different motions with different races...
Ok lets compare this:
A smaller person swinging a great sword will make him move farther cause of what we call momentum and the laws of physics. The weight alone of the weapon will throw him farther and will make his move a bit more clunkier than a larger person swinging the same sized and weight sword. The larger person will have more control over his weapon that he doesn't need to do useless movement to make the weapon its work.
What you want is larger characters swinging a sword that should be light for them look like the were swinging it as if their lives depended on it.
The game is trying to adhere to that laws...

I'll try to explain why using as much math as i can.
An Elin is 1/2 the size of a Elf, as such they need more momentum to get the weapon moving. As such they wind up, like a spring, and then lunge forward to attack. Now as the weapon is big it drags the Elin with it, so you have your character being dragged until they get control over the weapon again. An Elf of any other big race do to being bigger do not need the same momentum, as such they do wind up but only at the waist, then they strike. As they are bigger in body the weapon does not drag them, and they remain in control.
As for why the big races don't fight in the same manner, it's simply to add to variation. As is there's no real advantage to piking one race over another. The range is barely noticeable in 90% of the game play. And the small hit box is a nightmare in PvE on lancer. As is
No, what I'm asking for is that it be put into consideration that it makes no sense that another race couldn't CHOOSE to swing themselves forward to get more range. The great sword is not the same size for every race, it is scaled, thus it shouldn't be much heavier going from one race to another. I see no reason for Elin to have longer range than let's say high elves, or popori (specially using your physics logic, Popori should have just as much range as elin but they clearly don't). It's just quite simply not fair to the other races. I'm just saying to scale it back to be at least equal with other races, considering they already have the smallest hit box as a major advantage over other races.
The range is not barely noticable, it can be a meter or two which is a big difference. Hardcore PvE guilds take this very seriously, and I have even been asked to pay for a race change so I could make range longer. Ridiculous

They scale it for the character/race but its still heavy for a character the size of a popori or Elin, weapons are not made of paper you know. Body mass has to do something with it as well...
People who nitpick are [filtered]s and its your choice to play with them or avoid them, they tell you something they want, show them you can do it with what you currently have. Stop being a sheep that will follow everything they say.
Explain to me why Elin have 2 meters range on Popori?
Elin = Females that look fragile as they don't have any muscles at all? Have you seen how thin their arms are?
Popori = Males...even when as small as them look at how bulky they are..
good enough?
Another thing is I noticed from a slayer comparison video, females have different animation(obviously) than their male counterparts to show the difference in gender as well.
Not everybody is She-Hulk and even She-Hulk can't do all the things the Hulk does.
No, not good enough at all rofl. It should be balanced
Ok go play another game then, play Ragnarok everything there has the same range and effect and only the sprites for the gender change.
I knew I have been feeding the QQ thread since from th start but its apparent that you want to own this game.
Go do us a favor and make your own game so you can do whatever you want with it.
Uh no, Im not gonna switch games rofl. If I didn't like this game I wouldn't be playing it (I already own and am at endgame lawl) , I don't need someone telling me what to play and what not to play. As a consumer of this product I have the right to express my viewpoints on different aspects of the game. My view point is that is unbalanced because Elin have both smallest hitbox and longest range. It creates a great advantage to being that specific race over other races, thus creating a disparity in the population of every other single race. That being said, as the topic is labeled, this should be fixed.
