Love the popori race but i have one issue which may affect my descion. Gear/visual appearance is a big deal to me in MMO's. I love getting a new chest piece which looks cool (I know ,I know dont laugh) and then seeing it on my toon. Popori obviously have a weird built so my question is will the armor and or weapons i pick up along the way seem dull or unnoticeable when equipped on this class ? Is it a class at endgame where everyone else is going to be running around looking epic and I am going to look like a housecat wearing a sweater grandma knitted ?

I am sorry I read your post and couldn't help but laugh at your final comment.

I have not played Tera yet so cannot say for certain, but from what I have seen from youtube videos, Popori are mainly round... as such I don't think it matters what armor you will end up with, I don't think it will look as epic as the other classes... think about real life, things look better on skinny people then they do on fat people (as one of the latter I can assure you).

Now that isn't to say that it will be all bad, I have seen other games with awesome armor on bulky people (dwarven wrestlers/brawlers I think they were, with armor spikes everywhere), but you have to remember as well that for move ability and physics will play a role on how the armor looks (as armor that blocks joints, or make your arms look longer then they are just won't look right).

To be honest, I was a little worried at first when I rolled a Popori but man, their heavy armor looks cool!

If you're in the Beta, there is an "Outfit" option under Character creation which will show you your character in 3 different sets of gear (Possibly early, mid and late game).

been rolling a Popori this beta stage and as of yet I have to say every armour upgrade for my lancer has not disappointed. Just one little gripe I have about the race... I'M NOT WEARING ANY PANTS >:\

Popori in cloth have some ridiculously bad outfits. One of the vendors was selling an outfit that was basically a bright purple pajama suit with 4 leaf clovers stamped on it. At least my purple nikes were just as sweet.
