Well considering EME is advertising not to 4chan or the forum but rather people in the western audience who do not know about TERA it makes the most sense not to include Elin.

Because outside of the forum/4chan...well...hate to break it to you, nobody likes Elin, many find the inclusion of them in the game creepy, disgusting, or out of place.


Examples?

On three different forums I advertised TERA, my threads lasted until the 2nd or third post when someone said "the pedophile race in that game is disgusting and it makes me sick thinking about what sickos would play that game", or something along those lines, that was soon followed with my threads becoming a [filtered]fest and deleted.

Secondly, based on forum polls and TERA generals on 4chan, EVERYONE will be playing Elin right?

Well when CBT3 keys were given out to the masses all those random people, well guess what, even Elins dominance on both these sites failed to overpower the fact nobody outside of here likes Elin, and it showed.

With more people rolling Castanics, Humans and High Elfs over Elin.


I'd like to add, I have no problem with Elin. The fanbase is what I hate, most are ones who have this huge sense of self-entitlement, others are annoying and others are just pedos.

I've met one or two cool Elin players though, so you're not all bad. :)

Elin was the 3rd or 4th most rolled class during CBT3 NA.

Polls form this forum and statistics from previous betas in NA and EU have already revealed that Elin is one of the most ( if not the most) chosen race. Of course you can argue that people voted in forum doesn't reflect general population or beta's racial choice does not mean anything, but you need some proof besides your "experience".
I don't have opinion for Elin's censorship (basically I don't care) but you seriously need to face the fact that Elin IS the one of most beloved race even in western TERA community.

castanic got 28% last CBT in player numbers.

elins got 14%


Human and high elf were higher than the elin as well.
