Elins propagate via asexual reproduction.
This explains why on the first expedition there is a character that looks exactly like your Elin. Because it was her mother.

The "mother" of the Elin is the Goddess Elinu - they were brought into existence as corporeal forms built around fragments of her own being, so in essence they're tiny parts of the goddess herself.

Obviously the father was futa-Elin.
But in all seriousness the Elin Princess is probably the queens 'twin' during creation, or some one close to her, or an elected princess kind of like a vice-president who can take over in case something happens to the president / queen.

Lol the whole "female only" created race reminds me of Viera from Final Fantasy or Gerudo's off Zelda.

And yeah, Elin royalty is chosen, not born into power. They select a queen, and I assume they select princesses as well. Like the queen's cabinet, or something.

2) Elin are mortal
In my personal assumption that Elin are immortal, it is entirely possible that the same Queen has been in power since her creation.

Lore/Mysterium research suggests that the Goddess Seren is most likely responsible for the creation of the new Elin since Elinu "died," and it's been stated the lifespan of an Elin is 70-80 years. So they are mortal, or at least their bodies are, maybe they are reincarnated though. There's really not enough information about the Elin to say though.

The princesses are specifically said to be sisters and to be daughters of the queen. With a mother, especially one that isn't of divinity, you need a father.
Also, the word "female" in it's scientific stand-point, means that you're referring to where it stands in the procreation process. You can't be a female without the proper organs, otherwise you're an IT. They're not amoebas, they're obviously mammals.
Anyway, why are some so afraid of the idea of Elins procreating? Is it that same mentality that fathers go through with wanting to believe their daughters are pure for all eternity? lol
