OK we are newbies here, trying to figure out what race has the best starting statistics for the Sorcerer Class.

We have narrowed it down to the Castanic or the High Elfs, being that all the other Races seem to be Statistically geared more for melee or non magical abilities.

The only ones that seem statistically geared for Sorcerer Magics is the High Elfs due to the two racial traits of:

{ Core Infusion: Elves can draw on their connection to the Core to completely refill their mana. 2 hour cooldown.
AND

Resilience of Mind: Elven mental focus means they regenerate some mana whenever they resurrect. Passive. }

Can we get some feed back on this from our fellow Testers who have tested out each Race Stats. and which one is the best choice to start out with as a Sorcerer.

Racial skills aren't really strong enough on any race to be "best" for any class. Pick what race you like, regardless of the racial abilities. The only active abilities are on long cooldowns. And as people around here are fond of saying - if that ability on a 2hr cooldown makes or breaks your gameplay in some way - you have bigger problems.

Other than racials, there are no differences in "stats" that I am aware of. So really, pick which one you like. I will be rolling a Castanic Sorc, because I like the way the Sorc looks as one. ;)

Race really doesn't matter. I mean those 2 racials are pretty useless, I rolled a Human Sorc in the CBT and I rarely ran out of MP and if I did then I would just use Mana Infusion or a pot then problem solved.Also in the future Mystics(and in some cases priests) will have skills that will help you Mana Regen.I only died about once as a sorcerer and that was because I lag spiked during a large pull and sadly I was in the middle of it.Just used Mana Regen and I was ready to fight again.

I definitely think I'm going Baraka sorcerer. Mainly cause they look awesome in cloth armor, but something about a being the size of a small car casting spells and causing general chaos appeals to me.

So there is no Race that has better starting stats. then the other race for a Sorcerer?

Such as what gives you the most Mana & Spell power. in most games its intelligence and or Wisdom. have not yet been in game so we do not know what Tera has for skill stats.

So with that in mind,... What race has better starting base stats. for Sorcerer?

Such as dose High Elf's have more Intelligence or wisdom then the Castanic making them a better choice for Sorcerer then the Castanic?

There really are no stats for TERA it's all about equips and crystals.

In one way that will be nice because you will be able to play any race for any class. Down side is the O.C.D.'ing into looking for and finding the very best item and gear as possible.

At least this gives us a nice option to play the race we like,..... the Castanic.
