I rolled a Baraka in CB4 but am thinking about trying a different race. So far I am between either staying Baraka or going Aman or Human. Anyone that could give good input into this please do.

I am wanting to PvP a lot but also PvE. I know racial's have been said they don't matter but I seem to think that some of them would help in PvP and in rough PvE situations.

Also will take input for other races as well but am really looking at the three stated.

i think human racials are probably most beneficial for PVP


It seems you don't care about the looks, which is what the majority of player will be basing their sorcs on. I'm lookin' at you Elins, and Female castanics

Elin and female Castanics have the best Sorcerer animations imo. If you want to choose a race based on it's racials though go with Baraka, Aman, or Human since they got some pretty good ones for PvP.

I would definitely say go for what you think looks the coolest though. Racials will not make or break a fight most of the time.

The damage reduction you get at 30% or less hp for a sorc is pointless as even with the reduction at 30% or less hp you're pretty much dead as a sorc.

I'm leaning high elf, just for the mp boost. During burn phase on boss mob will be nice to be able to extend that and just keep throwing the insane dps out. Hopefully the animations don't suck.

It doesn't matter. In PvP it's not the little shots that matter, it's the ones that take 50% or more that get you, the damage resist doesn't really matter at that point so it's as worthless as all the others.

And yes, the high elf MP boost may be 2 hours but, on that end dungeon boss, that burst could be real helpful. Or even just in case everything goes south.
