I got six elins of fun and joy and plenty of weapons to go with it.

One time I hit some high-elf so hard with my axe they went flying off one of those bridges. Splash!

People been ridiculously dinky about this character. "Don't play it!" "Don't be an elin!" "Everyone who plays elin is trash!". I never seen a bunch of judgmental nerds being so fake and phoney about a cartoon character. I met a bunch of cool cat elins that just rock all around lol.

Play what you wanna play, be what you wanna be. Life's short don't let prudes hold ya back from enjoying a game.

By "little girl" you are implying that they are human... i am yet to run across a girl (regardless of age) in every day life with a tail and fox ears. Maybe if you live beside a nuclear reactor that's a common sight, but it's not here were i live.

Dad: " Son, why are you playing a 10 year old dressed up like a playboy bunny with a short skirt?"

Son: "Well Dad, she's not really a little girl, she's an Elin. She's a hundred years old and an element of nature. She has bunny ears and a fox tail."

Dad: "So did your mom the night you were conceived. So why were you tilting your camera to look up her skirt?"

Son: ...

Well, assuming that people that play elins are pedos because they're attracted to their character, that would mean your attracted to the bodybuilder guy you play. Depending on you or your friend that caught you playing it's level of homophobia, it may be more embarrassing.




I don't really care why people play Elin's. I certainly don't think they are all pedos, and I'm not one to judge regardless. I was just commenting on the embarrassing aspect of trying to explain that situation to someone in real life.

I personally think this country is overly obsessed w/ their sensitivity to all things sex and that it was silly that En Masse even decided to alter the armor in the first place.

Playing a male character that's heavily built in a fantasy game wouldn't even be questioned.

If you like the Elins, regardless of whether you think they are a petite adult with a flat chest and wicked hips, a late teen that is on the boderline of legal so she can be as "cute" as someone younger but still might be legal as someone older, or think that Elins are little 10-12 year old girls in bikinis... ALL OF THAT IS PERFECTLY FINE.

As long as you don't go around doing anything with real life little girls and that you enjoy playing Elins, you don't need to justify yourself to anyone. People have common things that attract them, but they also have some very different things that attract them as well. You don't have to share/explain your desires with everyone.




Myself, I made my Slayer an Elin for the same reason I made my Mystic a Baraka: It looks funny seeing a tiny girl/woman/spirit/polygon holding a giant weapon as much as it looks funny seeing a giant golem/rock/man/child/cliff holding a tiny little wand.

@Draemos:
First: My mom is 5 years older then my dad, my GF is 3 years older then me.. I am 24...
Second: My dad like's good graphics as much as the next guy.. also for him it's all pixels even if the Elin was running in the nude.
Third: if High school DxD, can get on NA TV uncensored.. all the Elin changes are unjustified.

What you see is not what everyone else sees.

Case and point: A lot of people see the Elin shorts are ugly and unneeded monstrosities that trample on our rights, our freedom and our lives. I see it as nothing more than a pair of shorts with a couple of graphical issues (clipping and dye).

Yeah, I'm not sure what the hell the big deal is all about. I picked Elin because when I saw the lancer class, I knew I had to have an Elin lancer because it would be absolutely hilarious.

That is because you are looking at the result, and not the discussion. If you look at the discussion, it becomes clear that it is a simple case of two opinions, and EME choosing one over the other. Normally this would not be an issue, since if the options are "Yes or No" you got to pick one. But in this case the options were "Use KTera textures, censor, or do both". The "both" part is where EME screwed up royally.

Nothing prevents people from using the textures they want, except the ToS. And the ToS is EME's choice, which means the only thing standing between "everyone is happy" is EME themselves.

Again, shorts doesn't matter. What matters is that instead of appealing to all customers, EME chose to sort people into "Desired customers" and "Undesired customers".
