well, that certainly would bring in a lot of cathlic priests. do we really want that? i'm gonna go with no.

+1 to this.
As long as it fits into the Lore, I'm game. Unlike Elven Priests. I still will not be able to get over how, a race that doesn't worship any deity (according to the games lore that was posted on Dev Blogs, back on the old site, and forums, though I can't seem to find any of it anymore) somehow classifies their healers, as "Priests". You can't be a priest if you don't have any foundation of religion, or Godly beliefs anyway.
But, they wanted all races to have access to all classes, so the hole remains, lol.

You also can't be a priest if you're female, s'why I always call my female healers clerics.

Do not go Blizzard on lore, this is RPG, it should have some story behind that is not twisted to fit game design.
yes thats true but, a sudden change could come about and another god or goddess might come into play and create one. its the helpful imagination of B hole studio who could bring it to life!!!!!!!!!

Not to derail. Just wanted to gush a bit and tell you I love that you used Ritsuka from "Loveless" as an example. Love, love, LOVE the Anime/Manga :). Makes me wanna roll a Elin at launch and name her After one of the Zero's, hehe.
umm for a new class idea later onn!!!!! how about a male version of a elin. sumthing cute but instead a boy, with different animal traits like example; wolf, deer, bear monkey attributes. sumthing along thoughs lines.
