Long time ago, before the west heard of such things, back in the days were dial-up was common and pages were limited.

There was a website called "Anime Network" where fans of genres would come together under website-rings linked through geocities and the old Yahoo! pages.

Glad to see that banner had been passed from groups like DeJap and Starsoft Translations to official companies such as NIS America. To keep foreign games as authentic and as close to their originals as possible.

Could be said that the castanics are real-life women prostitutes, but that would be illogical, would it? Because in the end they are video-game characters. Where are the true gamers who play games as video-games. Not these cry-babies who go on reality-life drama trips every time they see something different or of a different gaming culture.

Games are fictional and are meant to be fun, not for pew-trippings and double-standard talkings.

The question is can you discuss the bad regarding the game without throwing insults at the company or comparing them to some regime? If not then don't act surprised when they lock your thread.

Actually, if you bothered to actually read the forum rules, the above is not a mentioned offense. Calling out EME employees warrants a ban, calling out the company is not a mentioned offense. Employees simply follow company policy, it would never occur to me to go after an individual.

Im pretty sure... almsot 100% positive... I didn't wait years for a single race to be half naked.. just saying... I came for the game play and graphics. Which the game still has both, Censorship happens, Deal with it and move along no point whining, just play the game, because TBO i don't see the real big difference. Still the same race with different clothing, they still fight the same, they still play the same. If that one reason your made is they changed the outfit.. go print out a picture of there old look paste it to your desk and stare at it while you play. problem solved <.<

(if you ask if this is troll... 50-50, Dead serious about i don't see the reason to complain over it, trolling a little with the picture solution)

Ok, you're not a troll. Understand, though, that everyone is different. Some power their way to endgame, some stroll along and could care less if they ever get there. Some want the best gear, others could care less. Some are into pvp, some only pve. Some roleplay. Some care what their toons look like, some don't. Some care what their toon's gear looks like, some don't. Those that do care, should be given the same respect as those who don't, and not be called peds because they've seen enough of the outside world to know the difference between fantasy and reality, and that a toon is a toon, artwork rather than a real live being.

i'm sure the EME employees are the epitome of cordial. socially, they should be treated with equal respect. there is nothing wrong with arguing against a decision they make. in post secondary education, the vast majority of work is based on arguement. professors won't fail you for arguing. they encourage it.
my heart goes out to them because they're stuck in a crossfire. although, rather than offer perfectly viable solutions to the problem that they themselves created, they have opted for one side at the expense of the other.

it seems like all females in this game get fanservice. no matter what female you roll, she'll be wearing a thong and tassles at some point. this is what fanservice means as far as i know. whata irks me is that there's only fanservice for hot.

there are many people 18-40 with the elin body type. so many people can't read.

Fan service is showing things that aren't necessary to the game or show or movie or etc, because fans want to see it. This is originally meant something sexual like big bouncing breasts... and for the most part that is still what it means 99% of the time. However these days sometimes it can also be something cute or violent that people wanted to see like little bunnies or car bombs.

Since the censorship debate is about showing more elin bottoms, panties and flesh, I doubt that "cute" or "violent" is the sort of fan service these people are after.

So if you really did cancel your subscription, my reaction would be: Thank you.

Sin! Long time no see. Actually, I mostly agree with you. Life would be better without this conflict of interests. But that's a part of life and a part of running a business. And as been pointed out, EME could have smoothed this over long ago, as there are many easy solutions. Most companies would have smoothed it over. EME doesn't seem to care, so if they are losing customers, they only have themselves to blame. Something as simple as changing the TOS to state that you cannot visually mod the game in a way deemed inappropriate would have sufficed to end the discontent. After all, clothing from their own Korean game could hardly be considered inappropriate.

It was their non-caring attitude, combined with the criminal convictions of the lead TERA designer and four others for stealing from NCSoft, the lawsuit from NCSoft pending in New York that could stop release of the game, the lack of downward communication, etc, that caused me to lose interest in a game I'd waited a long time to play. So, I did cancel, should receive a refund shortly.

And, your welcome. Soon, you won't have to read my snarky comments.

I am with you on this point.

If you go back and look at how many posters are even involved in this "problem" and compare it to how many people are beta testing and could care less about commenting on the"problem" then they do not even make up the 1%.

hmm? how long you have been here? the elin fans are long gone, like... over a year ago
