If i were to join any server it would be RP, and then PVE second. I also haven't felt comfortable ever doing RP because of a bad experience a long time ago, long story short i didn't know what "cyber" was until this person began (I thought it was some sort of Weapon skill or ability in FFXI - i was new to MMOs) at which point i ran, fast, very fast, Thief Flee fast ,in fact. Ever since i've really had a fear of RP type people.

Another bad experience i had was when i was dating a girl and we were on Gaia-online ( i think that's spelled right) well it seemed like she was RolePlaying in a dirty kind of way and i found that to be really disrespectful to me, real or not i think that's going to far, we are married now and have a 1 year old, she still wants to role play or be a part of that type of thing, i just get a burning feeling this type of thing is going to happen again.

My major reason for wanting to be a part of a RP community is vastly because in terms of similar ideology, and overall maturity, I feel like the RP community would except me as an Elin, and would have no issues if my wife and i decided to make both of our Elin a couple.

Because of my experiences, including another in Aion where people were literally 'sexing it up' in a tavern out loud, i veiw many RP'ers as "Hey i'm going to talk dirty to all these girls" or "Deep story, followed by BAM! Nailed her!" I admit this thinking is really narrow sighted but keep in mind what iv'e already been through with RP communities. While me and her are all into the dirty stuff we like to keep that to ourselves, or limited to each others direction.

This post is mostly for conversation, your opinion, and if any guilds would like a couple of Elin, preferably PVE (We also like anime)

We refunded our PCE mainly because of the constant aggression in the other sections, we can always re-order, but being in the other sections makes you walk away feeling kind of like this:

I don't think it would be too difficult for one to accept a pair of Elin that love each other. Maybe not in the sensual way, but more in a packish, sibling way. Eh, maybe sensual...

Ever watch Vandread? Think Ohma and Fahma, only without the whole birthing capability. They may form a "family" to raise a younger Elin though.

That is sad that you view RPers to be that way. I certainly am not advocating ERP at all, those things need to be kept in private chats. Role play is not an excuse to abuse EULA policy (slurs, harassment, extremely sexual or violent words) - so if open ERP occurs, it's perfectly within your rights to screen it and report it. All that said, hope you find a good home here. :-)

"E" = erotic. And, in my experience, most of the RPers that I have run into, do not go ERP. Subjective mmo past and experience of course. But yeah, wasn't exactly our cup of tea.

While Elin rolls might have the most potential for chiding trolls, I think RP crowds might be a bit more forgiving because 1) there {hopefully} is more maturity and 2) more people will read their quests and pay attention to Lore (not everyone of course). Having said that, I do have to add the caveat that my server experiences are only that: my experiences. There will always be, no matter what varying amounts, at least one person in an mmo that will piss someone else off. The good news is that we can block, and if it is real harassment: report. - easy as that.

Lore wise: Elins (and thus their creations: the Popori) originate from the goddess Elinu. Both of their lifespans are 80 years or so. (They used to be one race S.Korea correct?) Although I can understand why the west has misunderstood, people who play Elins are -not- playing children.

And regarding race/sex of character, I personally don't care who is playing behind them. If they are enjoying the game with that character, awesome. Let them. Who am I to judge?

So you are basically derailing my thread, since you will be more aggresive (what i said i'm avoiding) than accepting.
