Basilisk Crag is the un-official RP-PvP server at the moment, and I really love the new friends I've made there. However, as an avid PvPer and RPer I find that I can't have my cake and eat it too. If I want to RP I have to hop servers, and if I want to PvP I have to jump to a different server. So I ask the general public, all RP-PvPers out there, help me petition En Masse for a server of our own or convert one of the existing PvP servers into something more RP friendly! We need something concrete and official!

While I would love this, we simply do not have the numbers for this sort of thing. I would hate to finally get the an RP-PvP server and have too small a population.

You won't have the numbers or population to do it. Just deal with BC or forget the PvP and reroll to Celestial Hill to RP with the low population over there. The RP community can only be stretched so thin before you not only lose your RP - but lose all your content along with it due to stretching yourself too far across servers.

PS - I don't RP. I use to in other games but quit it years ago. I'm just telling you how it is.

As much as it pains me to say, I have given up hope for a RP-PvP server. My wish now is GvG on PvE servers, but that might be awhile since they would have to have a system where both sides agree to the war.

Rawrg, never give up, never surrender! We need an RP-PvP servers to make tasty with the vittles. A lack of ability to be able to both spontaneously RP; or what really disappoints me is the fact that on TERA it's PvP at all it seems.... Such a bad design oversight disabling all PvP features on PvE servers... It's unlikely to happen at this point, what with so many giving up and so many nay-sayers, what really crushes me is the fact that if we get pvp features on the RP server i still cant transfer my 40s I spent all this time leveling because theyre on a PvP server.... It's quite the dilema. I forgot what my point is and my opinion counts for less because I've been told i'm stark raving mad but I support this! /Signed

I agree they made some dumb choices, such as no GvG on PvE servers and PvP to PvP server only transfer, but one point you made is actually false. You can have /some/ PvP on a PvE server just it has to be done in a death-match or a duel, so really we are only missing on GvG which is lame because that would be awesome with an RP twist.
Now not to get off topic. I support the idea of an RP-PvP server, but at this time I think it is too little too late. No one wants to start fresh over and split their friends and guilds up and PvP RPers are already a rare breed. I just can't see it being successful.

I just meant large-scale PvP features. =) I want to have epic story fueled battles, an Ambush in the Jungles of Ostgarath against an opposing faction, or a proud stand on the rolling fields of Velika, a nice 20v20 full platoon stand-off. There's so much potential for epicness that just fell flat on its face. And from a non-RP standpoint I do love BGs to break up the heavier playing with some casual good ol PvP fun. That's all rumor and hear-say so there's no fact to support it and I'm hoping it's false but there was some concern over BGs and PvE servers. Though a GvG on PvE servers might be enough for me to roll over to CH. Just would sting after all the time invested and the money... I ended up springing for a sword on my lancer just cause it's spiffy, lol.
