I'd also love to see an expansion to our animated emotes. A /kneel and /sleep would be amazing. >.>

I avoid most of the animated emotes though, while RPing, because they look so darn ridiculous.



Habe you seen the Elf male emotes? It looks like they are a formal ball, they do everything with such a flourish.

Yeah, my questing partner on my main is a male high elf, so I get to see them all the time. xD Alas, I chose female human, so my emotes are almost universally embarrassing.

Woahwoahwoah, wait a minute. "Now add text to the /s channel"?? Does this mean my character's going to be saying something obnoxious and OOC everytime I do a pre-made emote? Like everytime I /wave they'll /s "hello" or something?

I hope they just mean it'll be "-name- waves."

-Signed- , This would be great because it is hard to get the feel of the people your role playing with when they suddenly sprint 6 steps to come towards you and this would add so much more to it. And also instead of *Thozane walks over to the man.* the emote system he speaks of like World of Warcraft, was very useful and makes posting 10x faster. (Exaggeration but it would help!)

I'd ventrue, if I may, that the range on /say could actually use some nerfing.

If I'm sitting in a vast plaza, I should not be able to distinctly hear a couple quietly chatting with one-another 45 meters from my location.

The lengthy range of /say really contributes to the maddening white text flood in our larger RP events. I love RP, I love stories. I'd like to read the comments of the person I'm talking to, as well as the person behind me that's setting the scene without constantly using the scrollbar.

I know we now have the " /e " command prompt to show expression or custome emotes, however, I'm wondering if the /Party and /r Whisper people can see them?

Is it restricted to /say only?
