Looking to get your character fleshed out and ready to engage in some awesome TERA RP action? Get started here, completely in character and ready to go, in this generic tavern in the thick of Velika. Barmaids offer drinks and food and a bard plays in the corner. The atmosphere is inviting to all, almost as if encouraging interaction between those within its walls.
(I hadn't seen any general RP threads, and I know I personally like to get some practice with playing my character. Plus, I feel like it'll help with the wait for launch.)
He noticed him from across the room immediately; was it the armor? Not at all...the Baraka just looked so awkward here...big and out of place...specially with that Valkion cape he was sporting. The elf rose while finishing off his ale; he slammed the cup down with a satisfying sigh of relief.
he was going to mess around with this "big" fella a bit.
A high elf enters the tavern with a bit of an uneasy expression-- this whole... social aspect of Velika was not entirely in her realm of knowledge. Or experience. Especially not with races other hand high elves. The woman entered cautiously, violet eyes darting around the room before resting on a Baraka. Baraka were civil folk. Easy to talk to, and enjoy reading about as much as she did, if not more.
Approaching slowly, the woman paused at a seat before his table. "I assume you're dining alone, this evening?" She spoke politely, glancing about before her eyes rested on Longshans. "Might I take a seat?"
A small elin strolled off the streets of Velika and came to a tavern that looked like a nice place to stop for a bit and maybe have a bite to eat. She entered the place and saw some races she'd never even spoken to on the Island of dawn. She stood on her tippy toes being short and hoping maybe to see at least one familiar face... but not luck on her part.
As she walked in her long orange hair in two giant pigtails swayed with her as she walked. Her giant ears and tail doing the same. Coming to a stop as she spotted all sorts of ppl mostly all taller then her. With this she was sullen and sat at a small table for her size and ordered something tasty to drink setting her staff next to her.
"Velika is so big" she mumbled staring into her mug. Hoping soon she would make an acquaintance or two.
Reno looked up from her mug and as a tall elf standing on the other side of her table. Her ears perked up as she stared at his face and his hair and his outfit. Tilting her head slighty to one side as she did, "Um... are you by chance talking to me?"
She pointed to herself with her index finger but not before taking a sip of the mug in front of her. She hated being short and inferior to other people but what she did know that she was one hell of a healer. She wanted to keep a strong look about her but always failed due to her small frame and her cutesy looks. She looked at him again, "so is there something i can help you with?"
He rested his chin on the edge of his hand, "well," he started the shifted his body to the side a bit, "I saw you across the room when I was coming back to my table...that I was sitting at and got up from...that you took...from me.."
He stared at her but there was silence; he looked off to the side while letting his hand drop at his chest, exasperated. He cleared his throat and looked back at the girl "I also noticed that you look fairly new here; where you from?" He asked, having a hunch that she was going to say...
Reno looked at him and panicked for a second quickly scanning the room for another table, "This was your table!?! I d-didnt mean to.. i was just.... i can go sit somewhere else!" she stumbled and fumbled over her words caught off guard for a second by this elf. Was her trying to pick a fight with her? When she heard him clear his throat she took a deep breath and sighed. "S-sorry." then out of his mouth came more words and again she looked at him.
She smiled lightly "why don't we introduce ourselves!" she exclaimed standing in her seat all of a sudden. "it's rude to start a conversation with out knowing names! Mines Renokitty but you just call me Reno" she smiled and stood there on her chair her arms crossed as she was now almost just as tall as the elf standing on her chair. "what's yours?"
She smiled again and uncrossed her arms for a hand shake.
Eloon grumbles to himself as he had his nose in a tome, as usual. The pale elf dodges around the folks that were in the tavern, making his way over to a free table. Plunking his rear down, the elf had barely noticed what was even going about in the small Tavern. A human barmaid with red hair saunters over to him, wearing barely anything. "What will ya have?"
Eloon jumped half a foot in his seat, startled by the woman. "What in the name of- oh!" He quickly plays it off, sitting back down with a chuckle, "Sorry, you startled me!"
The woman raises her eyebrow, "What with ya have, elf?" She grumbles at him.
Eloon sighs as he raises a hand, waving it about in a dismissive manner, "Just water, a wearer traveler in need of some cool liquid." He nods his head, trying to sound polite.
The barmaid rolls her eyes as she walks off in a huff, and Eloon just shrugs going back to his tome in the nosey tavern.
