waiting for walk function
The walk function is practically on EVERY NPC so i don't understand why they don't script a command that plays can use for it too work...
The walking collision detection isn't finished in the game. When your character teleports he/she walks through the teleport right? Does the character take into account collision or elevation? No. It's coming I'm sure, but it would be at the bottom of the priority list as it's not game-breaking or RP-breaking at all. It's just something nice that the RP community would really like to have.
Similar situation with NPC skins that you can't get anywhere. They look awesome on that idle, limited-movement npc, but would it work with our current character skeletons that run and move dynamically? No. It needs to be programmed for that first.

I would be in favor of a walking animation. Sometimes when I'm bored I'll /walk through a zone. Kind of helps me appreciate it, you know? Well, it would, if TERA had one. You know. :3
Perhaps they are taking a while to put it in due to having to make the mount walking animation?
That's quite a hopeful thought.
But no, they have already come forward and said that it's just not important in their eyes, so they're not going to even point an intern at the job.
(Plus, that's, what, three completely new walking animations they would need to do for mount walking? NOT quite a year-long effort...)
You'd think they would make the animation somewhat of a priority because nowadays they make money off of the outfitters which mostly RPers shop from. Therefore the role players are contributing a fair amount to their earnings.
I'm in favour of it. Its in all honesty, one of the things that baffle me most about the game, especially when considering how long its been out. Other then that, theres actually not enough for me to complain about. At the least, not enough to stop me from having tons of fun.
