I'm presently two days into the 7-day Trial, I'm about Lvl 15 or 16, and I'm ~finally~ actually starting to enjoy some of the precision that the Archer profession offers.

I started myself on the the CH-Roleplay server, yet I don't tend to see much communication between players, and most of the first major city was quite empty (though I ~did~ see like 5 people ....."talking" in some of the back-alleys).

So where is everyone? I've NOT been finding such details as monster placement (a PvP server would just be depressing for me) and NPC dialogue/quest lore to be very deep/good at the moment, though I'm liking my two/three-hours-to-make character & her archery. Whether or not I have a large (competent) group of people to play with will be the deciding factor in my continuing to play after the Trial......and I'm just not seeing many people at all.....

CH is a low population server (Probably lower than others, the RP crowd isn't really all too abundant) which could be a reason, but I've always run into people. Even on the Isle of Dawn I ran into a group of fourish who were all questing together and we did that island in twenty minutes or so (and saw tons of people along the way), and last time I was in Velika on my lancer there seemed to be a good chunk of people RPing in the backstreets in /say, or hanging out by the broker/banker or just standing around, possibly afking. (By good chunk I mean I ran into around... about 15ish people?).

Maybe it was just the hour/time of day? Or maybe people are hanging out in other cities or something. (There also seems to be people in Lumbertown RPing all the time, I never had an issue finding groups in that area when questing there at least).

Gotta say though, being in a guild adds quite a bit of life to the game. I'm in one on Serepentis Isle and one on Celestial Hills and they chat in the guild chat all the time, help out with quests, run dungeons, joke and all that. (On SI, where my highest level char is, I had some guildies help me out with a story quest I just failed at miserably).

Maybe hit some of the organized events if you can? Usually people post notices in the Celestial Hills forum (but I think sometimes here, haven't seen many is all) and those events likely have a lot of people (compared to the usual areas) as they're organized and people go out of their way to be there. (I think the Dawnrose Brotherhood is hosting an event outside of Kaiator, which I *think* you can fly to once you can use the flight master, that might have some people show up).

Also, LFG/Trade usually has people talking. I don't really pay attention to those channels though as it's mostly useless chatter. (Not necessarily in a bad way, they just don't talk about stuff I find interesting/they're arguing over including neon pink popori [a notion I am for])

Just ran a friend through the Island of Dawn and part of Arcadia on her trial account, and it was onthe CH server.

I think what you're not seeing, is a lot of it can be solo'ed easily enough, barring a few cases, that people don't have to FIND A TEAM NOW!

Sadly, I trial account seems to lack the /area chat function (not sure on the /LFG chat funtion) for you to type in "Would love some leveling company."

However, I plan to run my friend through more quests tomorrow, so feel free (if you can, I have no idea!) to send a whisper my way, for a team invite.
