Hello My Fellow Islanders...
My name is Reave, and I have been a long time member of the TERA Community. I was fortunate enough to win an invite into the Community Play Event last year and greatly enjoyed the limited time they gave us there. I carried my experiences and enthusiasm back to my gaming community of The Older Gamers and have since then been chosen to lead the guild for them on Serpentis Isle. I have no intention of going away for some other game anytime in the foreseeable future.
I have put my hat in the ring to become Vanarch of the province of Arcadia. Why Arcadia, you may ask? Do you remember the elation that came with your first basilisk kill? Do you remember your first run of Bastion of Lok? I do, and we would like to help those newly come to the game have the best experience they can.
We chose the Arcadia province as our home for a simple reason - most new players will all start out there, and they deserve a helpful and friendly guild who is willing to put the time in to help guide new players in TERA, when they need it. This is something that falls directly into the values and aims of The Older Gamers and of The Serpentis Isle Coalition.
Can we live up to our promises? Yes, we can. TOG's international nature means we will have members working throughout the day to keep policy points needed to help the zone to the best of our ability. At the time of this post we are the #2 praise ranked guild on the server, thanks to our active community.
The Older Gamers is a large gaming community that is composed of members ranging from our entry level at 25 years of age up to people playing in their 70's and 80's. We have a very diverse guild, one that consists of people from around the world, with our majority coming from NA and AUS. The guild encompasses a variety of playstyles and a number of altoholics. You may have seen us around under our alternate guild tag of The Other Guild. We strive as a gaming community to be helpful and be the pillar of the community in all the games we represent, and TERA is no different.
We are a proud member of TSIC (The Serpentis Isle Coalition), consisting of the guilds - Afterlife, Duality, The Older Gamers, Stars, Silent Warriors, PuriPuri, and our new addition Rage. The coalition has set about to prioritize the provision of services in our provinces, over the guts and glory of the Vanarchy position. By making sure that vendors are unlocked and upgraded, people in our provinces will have access to everything they will need to reach the peak of their game. Scrolls to teleport to dungeon entrances, the higher level enchanting mats and luxing components - specialty specific charms.
