TOUR DE OSTAGARTH
What's this about:
There will be a community event hosted by the Vanarch of Ostagarth and our guild Silent Warriors at around 6pm PST. The premise of the event is a small tour of the province. Various guild members of Silent Warriors will be placed at the outposts and around the outposts outlined by the image. You will start at Vindicator Outpost, then travel to Vindicator Basecamp, then travel to Relic Hunter Outpost. At those outposts you will find one SW member who will give you an item. Around Vindicator Outpost there will be two hidden guildies. You must find these guildies to receive their items as tokens of completing the first challenge. You'll then move to the Vindicator Basecamp. There you will find another guildie that you will need an item from. Around the camp you find will one guildie who will give you another item-- however, be very alert. This guildie will be hidden well, unlike the first two. He or she will not be too far from the camp, but we suggest looking up. The third camp is the Relic Hunter Outpost. A guildie will be there to give you an item, and then you must venture into Azrael's Labyrinth to find the almost-final guildie who gives you the second to last item of the puzzle. From that point you must race to the beginning of the city, Castanica. By the Hungry Caverns, there is a waterfall. I would suggest you find a way to get on top of that waterfall in order to get the final item. See you in Castanica.
I would suggest not teleporting or using the pegasus, as there will be guildies watching the portals and pegasus platforms and they will be writing down the names of those who come through them-- whether they are participating or not.
What's the point:
The person who attains all the items gets to keep them as well as the prize. The others in the Tour de Ostagarth also get to keep the items they receive from the guildies of Silent Warriors. Either way, win or lose, you still get free stuff!
What's the reward:
3,000 Gold
That's right, when all the items are collected, the prize will be 3,000 gold. There might also be a handful of random items, such as Munsell Dyes, Godsmarrow, etc. The more participants, the more competition, so be ready to rush out and find those items on Saturday.
This event will ONLY occur if I have the interest of five or more participants. Think about it this way, if there's only five participants, one of those five people will get the reward. You could join as well and make that six, as well as make yourself eligible for that reward. The more the merrier!
