There has been a few cases where the people voted vanarchs have quit, or moved servers. It seems stupid to me, if you know your not going to be playing on the server, dont run for vanarch?
Seems simple logic to me.

I would run as I know there will be some empty slots but I don't really have the time to dedicate to keeping an entire zone up and running plus we are a small guild. But I fully encourage any large guild to run for vanarchy.

Well, they have the trade broker up now. But everything else is down, taxes are at 15%, and their message is "eat my bawls." Classy!

Which guild is running Helkan anyway?

The guild is called Legacy, and the owner is Aeuyarsa. They are no longer a Vanarch at least, since they didn't run for the second term.
