What brought you to TERA? Did you play similar games to this? Are you new to this kind of game? What do you think will keep you in this MMO?
I got into CBT 4. We couldn't play very long, AL's computer was having a fit, and I was overcome by the scenary. Pale and I just ran around.
CBT 5 came, and I was hooked. What hooked me were two things. The Action Combat. I love having to think, and run around, and run away from mobs. Also, collision. Nothing ticks me off more then having a guy run through me, and kill me, only because he can run through me. You should hear me swear up a storm in pvp. It can get scary. I also like the characters in this game. Most games I've played have mostly naked women, and fully dressed men. However, this game has equal chance for nakedness!
I will be staying, so long as they don't ever change the action combat. It's such a nice change.
What brought you to TERA? Why do you think you'll stay with TERA?

I've been following Tera since Aion was released in Na. I love the action combat style. So many amazing features about this game for why I started. The game play and the way the flow of the game feels just keeps me enticed.
I'll stay with Tera as long as the game keeps content coming :)
I found out about tera during its early days, not 100% sure but that may have been 2.5-3 years ago?
Its been quite a while. Right now, I cant believe how close we are to the final release. It's been a long time, and ive been waiting so patiently. But to be honest, I cant sleep >_>
I put it on my radar a lonnnnnnnnnng time ago. I want to say not long after Aion was released but I'm honestly not sure exactly when it was. Forgot about it for a while. When I saw it popping up in the news again several months ago I started bookmarking stuff and checking in on it now and then.
Timing just happens to be: I'm so burnt on WoW (for years now), don't have feelings for LotRO or EvE or Aion or Rift anymore, SWTOR disappointed me in a big way. Been tooling around waiting for something to get me excited again and... Here she is! :) Between TERA and GW2 I think I'll be getting my vice quota in MMORPGs for a good while.

As for me, I came across it looking through streams on Twitch.tv probably around a year ago. It was Steparu playing his Elin Lancer, and the first thing I thought was, "His character is the cutest chibi ever!" xD
I hate to admit this, but at first I thought the game itself looked incredibly boring, but I think that was because he was leveling by just grinding mobs, and that's boring to watch even with awesome combat. Anyway, I found myself looking at the KTERA streams whenever I was bored. Originally, GW2 was the game I was waiting for, but the more I learned about TERA, the less I cared about GW2. (I still haven't even pre-ordered GW2.)
In January, I had absolutely NOTHING to do with my time and was always bored, so my boyfriend convinced me to acquire a KTERA account (through totally legal means, of course :P) to at least screw around with and see if I liked it. I did, and as soon as I experienced the amazingly fun combat and saw the incredible graphics and world, I was HOOKED.
Now you guys are stuck with me. ^_^
Saw a video about the political system, got me intrigued, pre ordered it, played beta, haven't regretted pre ordering since and can't wait to play it.
The first thing got caught my eye was the baraka in a robe! [filtered]'n A Cotton then videos and streams got me more and more exited. Then preorder and betas and BOOM got 2 of my roommates to get it too!

Getting bored of tab targeting systems and SWTOR lost its appeal after only a few months. I've always played tanks and DPS so while looking at healers in various MMOs I saw the Tera priest and fell in love. Didn't get a chance to play the beta so I'm crossing my fingers that I don't regret the pre-order .

Honestly, I don't even remember where I discovered Tera... I do remember that I thought it was a beautiful game. I was a little skeptical about the aiming, as I'm terrible at FPS games, but having played through all 5 CBT, I'm glad I preordered. :3
