We are restarting all PvE servers on Tuesday, May 8 at 7:45PM Pacific time to resolve a party matching-related issue.

The affected servers are:

• Arachnaea
  
• Blightwood
  
• Celestial Hills
  
• Dragonfall
  
• Freeholds
  
• Frost Reach
  
• Serpentis Isle

There will be no impact on PvP servers. Thanks for your patience!

The burning question: How long can we expect the servers to be down?

I was creating my first character as the server went down... argh lol.

Not too long, since this is a restart. :)

Already 10mins and still cant get in..

Well its 10:15 and its still down.... :( I'm Central Time Zone. So what, down for over an hr.??

BTW This game is by far the best MMORPG I've played. I was a huge wow player and have played Rift and SWTOR. Hands down this game is amazingly better than both of those and i would venture to say even better than wow so far. Major props to all u guys that designed this game. :)

No, it's only been down about 30 minutes. Still, longer than they thought. Hope it comes back up soon.

@Talace, All servers are up and people are playing, could you try completely exiting out of the launcher and restarting?

have tried that but will try again. thx.
