We will be performing a server restart for all servers on Friday, July 20 at 3:00 AM Pacific time. All PvP servers will be taken down for a restart on Friday, July 20 from 3:00 AM to 4:00 AM Pacific, followed by all PvE servers from 4:00 AM to 5:00 AM Pacific.

During the server restart, we will be decreasing the amount of gold required to register as a vanarch candidate from 3000 to 2000 gold and the guild vs. guild competition for vanarch will be adjusted to 1 province per continent. These are some of the improvements we are making for the political system and more information can be found in this post.

The following servers will be unavailable on Friday, July 20 from 3:00 AM to 4:00 AM Pacific time.

Good morning all, it looks like we're going to be using the full maintenance window for this work but work will not extend past the allotted time. This thread will be updated once PvP servers are up and then once again finally when PvE servers are up. Thanks everyone!

Where can I find this information so I can read about it in ADVANCE, BEFORE the changes take place. A couple of hours is a bit short.

Please, please, please, please, please...Dear EME, put an info in A REASONABLE ADVANCE...not freaking 30mins before you do it...you have no idea how much you can piss people off like that.

I agree about the short notice, I'll talk to our community team and see if it's possible to get messaging out sooner. Part of the challenge is that we tend to move pretty quickly on hotfixes- getting them in QA, tested, vetted and approved by production and then rolled out very quickly (as you see this evening). If situations like this sometimes the details aren't finalized until the day of the maintenance.

Down with Vanarchy, Why keep beating a dead horse? The changes you are adding aren't going to help, aren't what most people have been asking for and no one really wants the system. Now we have a 2 hour, hopefully that is all, down time for a game feature that isn't well liked.

There I was, hoping I would be able to get Agnitor rep during the weekdays. Sigh...

Guess I will have to wait till bg's are available during the weekdays to get my pvp gear.

4am, but they're back online now ;)

PvE server maintenance beginning now, will report back when complete.
