I have never seen a game launch without massive delays. WoW was a nightmare when it launched and it really had no reason to be. The smoothness of a launch is not the hallmark of a good game.

EQ and Rift?? Reeeeeaaallly. EQ was horribly riddled with bugs at launch. Rift had repeated 30 minute downtimes throughout launch day.

I'll give you SWTOR, but really, when it comes down to it, you're expecting too much without even understanding the sheer amount of coordination, foresight, and luck that goes into a MMO launch.
