I am so on the fence...

Reasons I want to play:
1 - a few coworkers are playing
2- I have a new pc that needs to be put to use
3 - It seems to be popular (especially VoT)

Reason I want to quit:
1- Didn't have as much fun with pvp as I thought I would. Still seemed a lot like shortcut/button mashing to me. Though much better than most mmos
2- Didn't have that much fun leveling

What should I do?

Did you find a guild / a group of people. MMO's , to me, are a lot about who you play with. It means a lot to have a group of people to share experiences with online and challenge yourself s to push into bigger and badder dungeons.

Find a group of people to play the game with and you shouldn't have these questions anymore.

So you're reasons for staying are: You have a computer, some people you know play it, all the cool kids are doing it. Your main complaints are: Did not enjoy PVP, did not enjoy PVE.

This is a difficult decision for you? Don't tell me you're a Pisces aren't you?

If you didn't have fun with PvP or PvE, don't play TERA. Replay a character in Skyrim and try out GW2. If that doesn't float your boat, then ... shrug?
