So.. being able to have a Vileforge a 1.5 months into the game.. not JUST creating the vileforge, but able to even construct a vile forge (before the crafting gain increase). Something that to this day is even remotely hard to do, with only a select few people can ACTUALLY do TO THIS DAY.

This is before you even owned a city, back when (even if you were able to kill the golems), you would literally have to travel all around the world to kill them. This is also before any MINE was even made, and if there WAS a mine made then, it wouldn't be enough BY ANY STRETCH of the margin to fund a couple points in Warhulk construction.

I often asked myself this, what if Hyperion found out the dupe first? Or what if the Coalition found out the dupe first? Or LOD, I would say Blood/Sun ,but I get a feeling they wouldn't do anything with the dupes.

Either or, I would love to hear the paragraph history on how you were able to attain all of these ingots without any mines even being made yet, how were you able to get ATLEAST 5,000 velron and 5,000 Leenspar and ATLEAST 2500 theyril ingots. I'm sure that number even is a dramatic undercut of how much it would've cost back in the day.

But what sieges were actually decided by warhulks? They were just something shiny to fight over

Who would have thought that not dropping resources into building a city would allow you spend money/rescources on player/skill progression instead.

God forbid you capitalize on the economy, pool together funds from members, and horde/buy out predicted rare resources.

We also certainly didn't mind trading all our regular iron/wood which was in high demand for city building, and in return soak up all the rares in low demand at the time.

Wait, The Mercs had Warhulks? I guess Ssly is right. They must have been pretty useless since I never saw them. I did see their boats though. Were those duped too?

That's the point, brotato. Why on earth would The Mercs, through "legitimate" means, have one that soon into the game?

A) It would be a huge waste of money and
B) It would be virtually impossible for that amount of ingots to be PRODUCED by a limited number of mines that had been built much less collected and skilled up by one individual crafter.

Y'all are silly.

There wasn't even that much of rare ore in the GAME.. (atleast legitimately) TO THIS DAY, with all the mines in the game, I don't even know if 60,000 rare ore + are even produced a month with every single mine in the game built. Anyone who has played Darkfall, knows better, this number completely unrealistic to attain, ESPECIALLY back when people had 200 HP.

Did you play the game, or forget that all nodes were full on server up. Or that beyond clans giving away rares at ridiculously low prices for wood/iron, you could take a small group of pvp'ers, wipe the defenders, and have a free mine every morning.

Any holding near Hinten in the first 3-4 months with a resource was pillaged 24/7. We got PvP and we got their resources to boot.

Most (the majority) of all mines were not built until SEVERAL months into the game. Your statement is invalid.

I am not saying they duped or didn't dupe, since I don't kknow. But could it have been possible for them to get enough rare ores from wiping groups farming at the golems? Because from personal experience, I know they did that quite a lot.

Dude that's like the equivalent of robbing a Burger King to feed and solve world hunger....
