Hello VoT! My name is Audible and I am the Chapter Leader for Tribe Gaming. Tribe has been successfully elected in every Vanarch election to date and we are thrilled to announce our candidacy for Vanarch in Southern Shara for the 4rd Circle of Vanarch elections. I'd like to take a few seconds to give you some details on who we are and what we aim to achieve.
What is Tribe Gaming?
Tribe Gaming is a multi-game community that has been successful in a number of games for over 7 years. Tribe prides itself on being a community that transcends the game you play by having an ideals-driven, strong moral and ethical code and an extremely active forums. Members of Tribe are mothers, fathers, sons, and daughters of all races, religions and sexual preferences. People choose to play with us because we provide a safe internet home and our guilds generally experience a great degree of success as well. The leaders of Tribe are almost always accomplished leaders in their work and home communities as well.

About Promises
Tribe will never promise something unless we are sure it can be planned and executed 100%. This is the first example of Tribe's moral code in action. We won't promise you anti-gank squads, we won't promise you levelling companions, and we won't promise you zero taxes - we can't, no one can - we're just one of the only guilds who will say it. When we promise you something, you will know we have a plan, and structure and the 100% backing of Tribe to get it done. Here are the things I CAN Promise:
- Tribe will provide thoughtful leadership to their province.
- Tribe will have an open-door policy, accepting ideas and thoughts to improve its rule.
- Tribe will bring the experience of 7 years of exceptional MMO leadership and organization to the position of Vanarch.
- Tribe will maintain a 100% uptime on all NPC's in their province after the first day of elections onward and generally will be time extended in full, well in advance of the term ending.
- Tribe promises that the tax rate will never be higher than the global averages in each of the six categories. Often we will strive to keep the tax rate WELL BELOW that average.
- Tribe will run 2 events in their elected province that are level specific for the province we hold with gold being awarded to multiple winners. The amount of gold will be commensurate with incomes earned. These events will generally take place on the 2nd and 3rd weekends of the Vanarchy.
About Services
Tribe has committed itself to maintaining 100% uptime on all services in their province. We have had mishaps along the way of course, such as in rule 1, cancelling all our extended time on the broker by accident. Yet within minutes were able to generate enough points to re-open the service and extend it. Tribe is dedicated to maintaining constant levels of NPC uptime throughout their rule.
About Taxes
Tribe promises to keep the taxes, at the very least, below the global average tax rate in each of the six categories. Every few days, we determine the average rate for all the provinces in each of the categories and track those numbers in a MASSIVE spreadsheet. We use that spreadsheet to help us determine the average tax rate for each service. The money made from taxes will go to supporting the guild's future endeavors so that we can continue to provide solid leadership within TERA. Collecting taxes also enables the guild to host fun events for the TERA community. A portion of the tax money will go back to the community through these events.
About PVP
We have no desire to turn PVP off in any continent. Some guilds will tell you they will never do it, but frankly, we might in other continents as we move forward. This is another promise guilds are making that is simply irresponsible to keep. We won't make the promise, but we think the players in TERA want PVP in every province and we want it too. This is one area where feedback is important and we would love to know more about how you feel regarding PVP, especially in lower level provinces. Events!
I FIRMLY believe this is one area where Tribe is, without a doubt, the server leader. As of Friday July 27th, Tribe has hosted FOUR "Tribe Hunt" events and have given away well over 20,000 gold in events. Tribe was also thrilled to co-sponsor the largest PVP tournament in the history of VoT and help provide management for it: http://tera-forums.enmasse.com/forums/valley-of-titans/topics/PvP-Multiguild-Tournament-30K-prize-pool Tribe has no desire to keep all your gold. We want to use it, and our great skills at leading and organizing events, to create fun and engaging opportunities to give it back to you. The "Tribe Hunt" events have been a massive success. I can PROMISE YOU no other guild you vote for this election will give back to the community like we do.
