Even at half size that's a big video recording from 2560x1440 resolution. A 10 minute video is well over a 1GB in size. For a video that will end up on YouTube anyway, that's more than enough.

As for Bandicam, I'd definitely check it out. It's way less resource intensive than Fraps.

Sony Vegas is not easy to use. I downloaded it and had no idea what to to do. ._.
