I'm Akujik, current guild leader of Warriorpoets.
I have very simple goals with Vanarchy that I think many wanted to see even from the current Vanarchs that were never done. There's not much a Vanarch can do on their own to show how effective the position can be, but I believe I can get our community involved and show everyone the true potential of it.
My goal is simple - to spread -actual- PVP on this server. Valley of Titans seems to be getting a mass of transfers because people are convinced that it is the only server with real pvp going on. I want to show people that it's actually true.
As Vanarch I will be using the majority of profits to host a Deathmatch tournament - where people will fight on equal grounds. This would happen once a week and I would expect anywhere from 20k-40K prize pool .. possibly even more pending how much everyone participates. When this tournament goes on, PVP in the zone would be turned off - obviously GVGs would still be enabled so you can only expect guild leaders to keep their members under control and behave during the tournament. I'm sure our community can show respect for a tournament of this level - all we need is something to jumpstart it.
That's it. That's my goal. To reach it, I would have 1% tax on specialty vendors and taxes on all other vendors will mostly remain at the default of 5%. They may range from 5-8, but never higher. I would hope to keep them as low as possible and see everyone support this idea.
I'm sure everyone else is seeing what I have been - your friends are leaving the game out of boredom and it's getting lonelier and lonelier. Let me give -everyone- a reason to get together and enjoy themselves. I'd rather put all of the profits into this and see everyone have fun than sit back and be greedy.
It could end up being the most fun everyone has had on TERA, and finally have a chance to experience -real- group PVP while we wait for battlegrounds.
While we may be a smaller guild at the moment, our activity is proven by how consistent our praise is (in correlation with our #s) and our large backlog of catarnarch awards. We won't have a problem keeping vendors up at all times and the taxes low.

In summation:
- Weekly deathmatch tournament with huge prizes for the entire community
- Reasonable taxes (1% specialty, 5% regular)
- Work to involve the community for everyone to have a more enjoyable game experience
Please comment with any ideas / suggestions / etc. that you have about this. I am open to anything that you believe a Vanarch could implement/improve.
