I for one know that I miss Darktide greatly... back when this game was populated it was one of the best online experiences out there for many reasons. I know I'll never get tired of thinking back to defending Yanshi from Blood attacks, laughing everytime Thistledown went down and a flood of Hillbillies would appear, intense pvp battles, or just chasing players for miles across all sorts of terrain. I have so many fond memories that I could go on for ages about them but that's not the point... I want to know if anyone else misses Darktide as much as I do.

Ah man those were the [filtered] days huh =) this game is looking to be the closest were going to get to the GREATEST game EVER created. I loved AC my first MMO and will always be my favorite. You sir are a god

Darktide was good for about 6 months.

Darkfall was better, for about 6 months ;p

Let's all share one of our most cherished memories from this age of wonder that is now long gone.

I was "Coma" in AC2 Darktide. Played from launch for about a year and a half. Left, came back and formed ZC with a few friends and played the game until it went offline just about. Man how I miss that game. Fighting great guilds like TAO, Serpents, The Mercs, Sin.CC (Sinister) etc. Too bad those days are long over with the new genre of Carebear WoWqueer idiots that want nothing more than battlegrounds and call themselves PvPers. Oh well, I'm still an MMO lover and probably will be until I die.

Anyone who played Darktide the first 6-8 months misses it. Those were damn good times.

I think even well beyond those initial 6-8 months it was superb. The game was just so much fun and could have so much skill involved in combat. Even if you were far outnumbered you could still come out the victor so long as you had some skill.
