Well this is sort of common sense, there is never a cap on how many people can create characters on a server in MMOs. There is the obvious cap that how many people can be on the server at one time... Whalah queues!
I heard for every minute you sit in the queue you get a minute of bonus xp. Is this true? How much bonus xp? It would have to be 100% to make it balance out for the time wasted in the queue.

Yes but it isn't much it's a 10% extra xp. And you start getting it at 10minutes when you get a queue and for every minute you wait you get that in your game time.
Do not despair! The server is only "full" for name reservations. Once open beta starts, you will be able to make characters as normal.

its not like we said this 30 times to everyone who made a thread about VoT being full asking if they can make a toon or not.
That's the point of making this thread. People keep asking and getting answers in their little thread. Other people don't read it, or the thread gets buried, and so they make a new thread asking the same question.

Should be at least 50% imo.
100%, or even 50%, can easily be abused if you really want to. Someone can enter a queue at 8pm. Go to sleep. Wake up early next morning and start playing with 6 hours of dobule exp.
It would do nothing except artificially increase queue times, which affects people who are actually waiting in queue trying to log in to play.
