1x2x3x's Post History

In every game I've RPed in, the backbone of the RP community has been involved in inter-guild RP and regularly scheduled tavern get-togethers. Personally, I don't enjoy tavern RP, but I'm always thankful for people holding these events, since they expose people to RP and, hopefully, they carry that with them.
lol Aya, you're better than a cheerleader.
The Valkyrie Knights do a lot of RP inside the guild and we hang out with some folks outside. We are currently doing weekly inner guild RP events. Every Wednesday!

As to Castanic children..They don't actually have horns or the scars until puberty, and since they are a curse, rather than a genetic feature, any children, half-breed or not, would have them, also, I doubt most of the races can cross fertilize, Aman would be very unlikely to be able, with Castanic, Humans and Elves being the plausible..Though, again, since the defining Castanic features are a curse of godly origin, they likely breed true, regardless of mixed race.

You're right about the scars, they are a curse onset at puberty. Some rp them as bone and some as burn marks. The bone argument gains a lot of credit because they jut out from the skin and have sharp angles. Seriously, look at a Castanic sometime.
The horns are natural. Castanics are an offshoot of Deva.

A brief introduction to tVK
"The Valkyrie Knights is a strike unit that was founded in 174 VC during the closing years of the war between the high elves and the fledgling Valkyon Federation."
We are a Heavy RP (RP mandatory) guild with a strong military flavor. We do not accept non-RPers, godmoders, jerks, tools or any other riffraff.

Recruitment
Every person seeking to join the Knights must fill out an IC application on our site. They will then undergo an IG RP interview where they will be questioned about their past and informed of what they're signing up for.

Mentorship
If someone is given a chance to prove themselves, they are brought into the guild as a probationary recruit. They have two weeks to get to know their Sisters and Brothers and see if they fit in. Each recruit is assigned a mentor who is an officer in the Knights. Their mentor is their point of contact and will test them in combat and in guild lore before their two weeks are up.

Promotions
We hold weekly promotion ceremonies for our graduating recruits. Like any highly-decorated military unit, we stand on ceremony and community. Your achievements are ours.

Events
We've designed and tested our own tabletop-inspired RP combat system for TERA. Our system allows even low levels to contribute meaningfully without disregarding the hard work and dedication high levels have shown. We do at least one combat-oriented RP event a month and try to RP with each other on a regular (daily) basis.
Currently, we are deployed to the front lines and basing out of Kaiator. This has spawned the RP event series "The Horrors of War" which is a weekly event.

Any of this sound good to you? Apply.

Note: Yes, we're a military-oriented guild. No, we aren't ramrod straight, stiff-necked rules lawyers. We are a special operations unit. We value individuality, so long as you fit within the units structure. We will not be changing to suit you.

Good point, Rei. That's something Tera has over Gw2. Elins make good eats.

3: all they did was RENAME the alkahests... they were always that way =/ (at least needing a different one for +6 not sure if there was a 3rd or not)

Actually, different alkahests in ktera modify the failure/critical failure rates. You could use the base alkahest for +7 - +12 if you wanted, but it would have been dumb.
