The race change... man I was excited for this (being an idiot upon OBT who just rushed to get in game I made a Elf.. LOL) then I saw the 25$. At first I was like "the hell?" but if you read closely, it includes the 10$ appearance change, and the 15$ gender change along with a race. Thing is... I wish I could toss out the fee for the 15$ gender because I dont care for that crap.
If you mean that getting rid of the sick and disgusting stuff that is a select group of Korean/Japanese morale's towards kids then yeah right. I'm 100% glad they got rid of some of their child fetish little girls (clearly) with skirts and panties that can be seen. That is sick as can be. I realize however not all Japanese and Koreans are like this and it's just a select group. I'm sure some of them are also glad we got rid of those.

Cannot wait until buddy keys are gone to rid of the free loaders. It was a bad concept for the community and clearly a business specific move. Not to mention the lack of being able to transfer from a PVP to PVE server was a fail. I understand they want to keep PVP specifics or whatever, but at the same time the PVE servers are the non populated ones. Lol @ making more PVE servers than PVP btw.
No doubt. I have always hated MMO's that allowed people to add you to friends without an accept on your end. Its always abused.

The buddy code redeemers are currently a very small portion of the players. We are monitoring the server population very closely and will make decisions based on all of the data we have and we are trying our best to make sure we don't create servers that won't last. Thank you for being patient!

I honestly do not believe that. This is clearly a corporate lie to try to soften customers. A small portion? Yeah right. I see those buddy keys being used and given out everywhere and you want to say a small portion?

Also I understand there would still be a queue, but it would still be LESS without buddy passes. Weren't we promised an exclusive head start anyways? This is not exclusive as you dont even need a buddy key to get in. I saw a guy on MMORPG fake being in the hospital and you all gave him a key.

@ Katosu

Again, why should someone who has not paid be prioritized over me? I am a paying customer as the OP said... they have contributed nothing to En Masse. And yeah I was at SWTOR at launch, I know how it went. At the same time, it was not nearly as bad as this (thankfully I did not roll on VoT in open beta before pre-ordering) in which your paid customers have to wait 2-3 hours to login?

Oh and I realize they have this server transfer come Monday, but that's not going to fix anything. All you'll successfully do is make it so every server will have 1-2 hour queues (PVP ones). And I said above I was speculating, I didnt say for hardcore facts it was so. Still, do you believe the ratio of pre-order customers is higher than buddy passes?

@ Abitwindy

They are indeed all over forums. I was on MMORPG today and saw people just pasting away their 3 codes which means for that 1 person he brought 3 people with him who didn't pay. Something many above won't acknowledge.

@bolded: YES.

If I have to choose one thing to pick from that, it would be the bolded, but I'll go through one at a time.

The real problem is you're assuming that ANYONE and EVERYONE who gets a buddy pass code instantly rolls on a PVP server. But let's go by your logic and create false statistics - let's say for every 3 codes out there, 2 people roll PVE and 1 person rolls PVP. Still not a signifigant impact on your server / game. Or heck, I could be biased like you and just say let's assume all 3 roll on PVE and none roll PVP. That means magically there's no impact on your PVP server!

You can see how absurd this self-destructive logic is. It doesn't work, because we don't have any solid numbers. We can argue until we're blue in the face, neither of us have facts backing us. I've at least conceded that they should have kept Early Access to Pre-Orders only. That's a Pre-Order incentive, so I don't understand why they let everyone and their grandmother in. From a business standpoint, maybe they're pushing for more preorders / purchases by offering this olive branch.

EDIT: First 'PV' was accidentally -E, fixed to -P.

Indeed I do not have the statistics to back up my accusations, sure. However we can use basic logic to make an inference. As I said I still believe the ratio of buddy passes versus pre-order customer is beyond doubled. And do you believe for a second that a majority of the PVP server hold up is not from buddy keys?

But I can agree, I would of preferred it to be pre-orders only... as that's what I paid for. I didn't pay to participate in yet another open beta. Many others and myself paid to get a early head start that most are being denied due to a poor move on En Masse's part.

That assumes everyone gave the keys out. I didn't give a single one out, did you?

Emphasis on "lets say", this generally means i'm speculating... but whatever. As for me, no I refuse to give out keys to further increase the queue due to non paying customers.

I'm a paying customer.

Congratulations, so are a majority of the other players in que before you.

Please do not tell me you believe majority of those in queue before you are paying customers. There is 3 keys given per pre-order, which are being given out all over. With that, lets say there is a 3 to 1 ratio of non paid to paid customers.
I said the same thing, and my only response was the thread being closed. Why En Masse allowed the Buddy Pass users the same queue privileges as paying customers... the world will never know. However though do not be confused, En Masse has great customer service man. They just made a horrible decision here that needs to be fixed.
