Alkorin's Post History

Ah, alright. I'm a sorc, so being highest damage is definitely not out of the question (especially with the cooldown buff). If you have it on your priest, though, then it must be based on the entire party's damage.

Speaking of the cooldown buff, Hailstorm on a 10s cooldown with like 10 sorcs in a zerg nexus makes graphics cards explode. This has been tested.

So I was in a huge nexus zerg earlier today and when the nexus lord died I got the "Make the Most of it" achievement and a nifty Dwarf Orcan mask (which looks like a gorilla, honestly). I was wondering if anyone had figured out if this achievement is awarded on an individual basis (only the person with the single highest damage to a nexus lord earns it) or if it is based on the total damage of a party? I didn't think to ask the others in my party if they'd also earned the achievement, so I was wondering if anyone else knew.
Carving crystals are dumb anyway, just use scrolls: they're cheaper and better.
Bumped for anyone else's feedback.
I've also seen advertisements in LFG chat for parties forming groups of four with the intention of joining the instance queue and kicking the fifth person to bypass dungeon locks. While this hasn't happened to me, I can see how it's a problem waiting in the queue only to get kicked by a group of pricks looking to farm dungeons without waiting on the lock-out timer.
I do not have this problem.
Those of us who have dabbled in the art of crafting may have noticed that occasionally, instead of the materials or items we are trying to craft, we receive so-called "bonus" materials, sometimes taking the form of a slightly upgraded version of what we intended to craft, sometimes being a more basic item of a higher tier, or sometimes just crafting more items than expected. While I'm all for the occasional lucky draw in crafting, there are times where this "luck" can backfire and become very annoying. For example, in order to craft Holism Potions, you need to use Holism Elixirs as a material; when crafting Holism Elixirs there is a chance to gain "bonus materials," giving you Holism Restoratives. These restoratives, however, are not actually a bonus, but instead replace the Holism Elixirs you were intending to make, which leaves you nothing to craft Holism Potions with. I'd like to ask that bonus materials be made truly that: a bonus, not a replacement.
This song reminds me of the Six Flags commercials. It even has an old guy dancing.

I just wish the server transfer tool had been out yesterday so all the people who weren't committed to playing VoT could have transferred out already.

You do realise at least 80% of the people playing right now don't have a pre-order. The beta-flunkies are going to disappear in 2-3 days. Chill out.

What are you talking about? This is head start, the ONLY people playing are people who preordered.
