Cya watches as her guildmates fight through the horde of dragons, keeping a watchful eye on each one to be sure no harm befalls her friends.
Not much to do, as her allies are competent and aware. Dropping her motes here and there making a design on the ground, in between quick heals and stuns. She looks up to see a beautiful sight, a dragon unlike the rest. Sitting atop its craggy roost, it looks down on the battle but does not join.
Victory belongs to Cya and her companions this day. But as everyone gathers around a campfire to share tales of glory and some fine wine, Cya is still drawn to the dragon upon the spire.
She slips away from the group and begins to ascend the rocky perch to get a closer look.
"Can't get up...", she sighs.
Frustrated she unleashes a Sharans bolt in the majestic creatures direction,
hoping to anger it. "If I can't get to it, I will have it come to me.", she thought.
A hit! But it does not turn, instead one tiny hit and the dragon collapses, "Was it already injured?" she wonders. Disappointed she sits down, a quick break before her descent.
She rejoins her friends, but she was in no mood to celebrate. As the celebration dies down, her friends mostly passed out with smiles on their faces, she hears a faint sound.
As she moves toward the sound it becomes more distinct it becomes familiar. It's a cry, the cry of a dragon, a sound she knows well. It must not be dead!
She tries once more to reach the top of the dragons perch, and this time, with the cries almost encouraging her, she wills herself to the top!
She pulls herself over the edge, but the dragon has not moved, it is certainly dead.
"What was that noise?", Cya thinks to herself. Again she hears it, it is certainly coming from the area of the dragon's perch. Confused she begins to circle the massive corpse.
"A baby! Oh no...", Cya exclaims, shocked by the discovery. The mother may have already be injured, but she was the one that delivered the final blow.
Dragon or not, Cya can not leave a baby she has orphaned to its own fate. Cya will take responsibility for the little dragonette. She slowly picks up the poor thing and reassures it.
For some time Cya takes care of the dragonette in her cottage just outside of town. She feeds it, plays with it, and even puts it to sleep like a child. But something is missing, there is still some disconnect.
What is it? And then it comes to her, A name! She must give this baby a name, after a bit of thought she calls her Sorsha.
She spends days, and then weeks protecting and caring for this helpless baby, day by day it starts to gain strength and take on Cya's playful nature. Playing like a little puppy, it follows Cya everywhere she goes and even begins helping her questing by gathering and carrying loot. She, like any other dragon, has an inherent interest in anything shiny. She even learns friend and foe, growling and snarling as strangers approach, and playing with Cya's closest friends.
They spend their days trying to save the world, or their friends... and their nights playing, feasting and resting. Although Cya very much regrets the way her and Sorsha came together, she is so very glad that they are now the best of friends. More glad, that it was her who had found the baby dragon and not some warrior who would have killed her because, she is after all, a dragon. Cya knows that her and Sorsha will fight many battles, and enjoy many adventures together for a very very long time.
1. From the different types of pets, which would be your or your character's favorite? Why?
Dragonette, because like Cya they are Mystical, Brave and Playful.
2. Tell us about your TERA adventures together. How would your character have met the pet? What would the pet's personality be like?
