Lancers should only Block, Shout, Leash, Debilitate, Shield Counter. There is no reason to do anything else, Your DPS will not help the party and will cause you to lose aggro more often which will do more harm than good.

I'd like to see solid evidence where lancers dpsing makes a difference in the fight.

In TERA, functionally they are both the same .. it is a matter of what is easier for you to use. For me my reaction times are better on a controller because i have been using one for so many years.

I use a PS3 controller.

I am somewhat shocked that after having played this game most people still think lancers are better and still believe that some how Lancers control the battle better even though almost every single BAM/Boss/Normal in this game moves around and doesn't actually stay still. I don't see how you guys cant see that the combat mechanics favor warrior tanks and how big of a boost the upcoming patch actually is to warrior tanking.

anyways ... Warrior was always my main its just that given the current state Lancer is far easier to get groups with so i rolled a lancer not to mention Plate armors look great. Since my lancer is already 60 it doesn't really matter if I actually level up my Warrior now. .. you know since its not going to negatively hurt me in any way having 2 characters.

It would have been 32GB RAM but at the time 8G sticks were not easy to get and costed far beyond want i wanted to spend.

anyways, I hardly play games on my PC... however I do .. quite a bit of Video Encoding/editing and some 3D rendering and 2D stuff on the side.

Default everything except for shadows OFF and lightning OFF
my Nexus FPS was 10-18 at both resolutions (looks like there is a game engine limitation there as my CPU was not any higher than usual)
i5 2500K @ 4ghz / 9600GT(OC) / 16GB RAM

Warrior doesn't have lancers weaknesses(movement) and giving them the lancer tools just makes them the better rounded tank for everything the game has to offer.

Easy, We aren't a DPS or a Healer and for just about everything in the game we do the same things, Shout, Block, Shield Counter, Debilitate, Leash ... repeat until the mob dies. Plain but it is what we were designed to do.
