Arissei's Post History

Age of Conan used more realistic character models than WoW.
Rated "M".
And that was fully topless.

No chones (underwear) in Tera?
Pffft.
I still don't get why some people are so uptight about even partial nudity in a video game.
I really couldn't have cared less.

For a few years now, people have been running around topless in Age of Conan (which is rated "M").
The sky didn't fall.
The world didn't end.
Everyones' lives went on normally.
Maybe some were even better, lol
If anyone really noticed at all.

*shrugs*
Aaaand back to AoC.
:-P
Sexier clothing for high elves?

As I am always for more options, I support the original poster.

I also wish the run animation for the females would change.

I completely agree with this.

This reminded me of an issue over in DCUO when it launched.
(I thought I'd mention it here, as the two use the same engine and the issue is affecting the same card brand)

It seemed that AMD cards were having freezing issues. Some people figured out that rolling back drivers to a particular version worked as a workaround.
I was going to post the version here, but the date on the post was for jan. '11.
A little outdated :-P

If your drivers are current, then you may roll back to a previous version to see if it helps.
Maybe it will work twice ;-)

Also, if you're going to remove drivers... you might want to use something like driversweeper to ensure complete removal of the files.

I hope that was somewhat helpful :-P

2. Personal Meters - Tool to improve one's own gameplay but not able to be linked so as to shame others and stroke epeen.

3. Ability to parse combat logs to a text file so those who wish to can crunch the numbers in their own time to work out their deficiencies/strengths

I like the idea of these, and am wholly for them.

I dislike "the works" type.
My first real experience with it was in DCUO, where the community overwhelmingly demanded it.
Then it became disliked by a lot of people, as the DPS numbers were generally considered fluff (due to AoE spam). It mostly serves as a reason for the elitists to kick players from groups.
That's my 2 cents.
High Elf.
Half for aesthetic reasons (the armor as much as the characters).
And half because I prefer their lore over the other races.
My 2nd character will most likely be Human.
Then maybe a Castanic or Amani.
My younger brother just got into DDO before heading here for the OB.
So, probably back to DDO for a few more days filled with rogue-style shenanigans.

Maybe some DCUO.
Sorely lacking in many areas, but best action combat in an MMO... if one can call it an MMO.
:-P
