Could we please look into improved physics animation for, say, Castanic male bulges, and give them at least as much impact as the Castanic female chests?


I've never gotten that notion for some reason, that bigger bulges would equalize with bigger breasts. One could argue for bigger bulges on the basis of a more natural look alone, if such a thing applies. Breasts I see as, well, females got 'em (and men do too, though they are rudimentary). If the idea is to fight fire with fire then one should demand that the males have bigger breasts! I wouldn't want that, of course, so I hope it's enough to argue simply on the basis of what is natural or too exaggerated. Besides, the males do get bigger breasts in a way, but they get them in terms of pecs. It's not their fault that they don't jiggle.

edit: I forgot to bring this up. Yes, before the closed beta tests the popori and elin shared races on the character create, However later on they decided to split them up. (i'm still unclear as to the reasoning behind it but i think its because they are so different in aesthetics)


I should stand corrected then. I was worried that it was just another bow to "the West".

Dude what. I don't think you fully know what you're talking about. For starts, at no point in either K/JP Lore is bestiality/incest ever mentioned. For seconds, they are seperated in the character creation menu on K/JP Tera as seperate races. So get this straight; Same god/origin, seperate races.

They don't even reproduce sexually, according to original Lore.


As far as the Korean race selection-screen goes, I was trying to account for this (see 4:31), which I assume means that they share (or did share) a single race, the Popori. I first saw this in what I think was a newer vid, though.

I think I'll skip addressing your other points (though I do have something) and make a stronger effort to be clearer in the future... Just kind of tired right now.

So... why would they change this? The new version doesn't exactly scream "Western"... or... well, anything. It's a remarkably petty, pointless change to make.


I guess because if they were both created by the Goddess and appeared on the same race line in the character creator (as seems to be the case in Korea) then not only would the hint of bestiality be added to the mix but the hint of incest also, which, of course, would have been too much for the Western mind.

Could you possibly define what you mean by asianphile? It is a slang term, and I am seeing it for the first time.


I'll jump in here. There might be another word for it in terms of Asia, but it's like 'anglophile', for one who likes things having to do with England.
