I believe if you read what my colleague has written you can get a general sense of what is going on.
TFT was destroyed in CBT3, 4, and 5 by our guild and always by over double points.
Yes these guilds may have larger numbers but as comparing quality of players to The Forsaken I am going to have say our quality has and will continue to overcome their quantity.
I could post the actual scores of our victories over TFT but that seems like it would be rude.

Good change, grouping with randoms should not be rewarded, the reward is just getting a group to see the content.

Reddit ruins any game they associate with, just look at how development of Minecraft stopped once Notch started going there, or how Ace of Spades was utterly destroyed once they asked Reddit for advice.
