Bringing a T14 item to MW+12 costs the same for every t14 item, so if you want to make that investment make sure you do it to a piece that you're not going to regret.
You can theoretically do mchm and knxx with abyss or agnitor, but people would rather have queen or vm every time.
Item priority is as thus
weapon->gloves->chest->boots
If you're going MW+12, get weapon first (probably abyss if you're strapped for cash)
Next you get both MW+12 gloves, and nonmw+9 queen chest, probably gloves first if you can afford it. You can sorta save on boots, sit on some +9 t14 (or fraywind+9 pvp boots, its base stats are "fine" for pve)
Two rings will make a huge difference early on, get 2x conqueror ring with +1.5% dmg right away. They dont' cost you any money, just a lot of battlegrounds and they're more or less your easiest best-in-slot item to acquire.
-edit-
Since you're an archer, and they're already a lil hurting in the pve dps department, I suggest you save your money and grab an Imperial Reach (queen bow), in order to make up the difference. That's going to mean a lot of farming to get yourself that MW+12 imperial reach but that's honestly the only way you're going to squeeze into endgame content groups,
especially on MT.
Everyone telling you you can make it into an MCHM group and thrive while using +9 abyss or agnitor is giving you some unrealistic expectations of your endgame group finding capability.
Do your Jax and UTI dailies, do Nexus, and use your quest-gold boost for these if you're Elite, you can slowly farm the money for your imperial reach and don't even waste your time trying to find an endgame group while holding low-tier T14 +9
