That is the correct use of the word.


It really isn't. An internet troll is somebody who tries to get a rise out of people by throwing bait out, the term is actually based on fishing. They "troll" forums trying to get people on their hook, essentially arguing or yelling while they sit and laugh. It's not about being a jerk, it doesn't even have to be something negative. I could throw out some random commonly believed political ideal right here and spark a long argument between a bunch of other people while I watched, that would be trolling.


Thank you! "Troll" really is being overused lately.

You had me until this part. No way anyone in NA is going to pay for a -temporary- cosmetic item when every other Pay to Play game on the market lets you retain ownership of those items indefinitely. You can get away with that kind of shenanigans in F2P's of course.

That being said, I would like a few more pairs of glasses.


I think he means that they would be available to buy for a week, not that the items would last that long. So they items might still be rare as they are for the promotion, but still give people a chance to shell out some money for more.

This is where I Disagree. If people didn't kick zerkes when threatened, lancers wouldn't threaten people anymore. Yeah, you may have to wait in que a bit longer the first few times, but the only reason it keeps happening is because it WORKS.

The community is what caused it, the community can fix it. There are plenty of great lancers around, I know on Jagged Coast I see lots in LFG offering to let people que with them for free, no strings attached. Some don't want to give zerkers this free que, but others i've seen take zerkers as well.

Don't forget the more hostile LFD becomes the less GOOD lancers are going to use it, you'll just be stuck with other people with terrible attitudes.
I had this problem way back in SM. just the duke, he was the only mob in that place that did it, but like 2-3 blocks would drain all my mp. Are some mobs supposed to be his way and I just Havnt got the memo?

True :/ I place a little blame on the lfd system for that. My first tanking instance was because our lancer dropped out.

I've been yelled at by bad lancers for using my aggro skill to pull enemies off the healers. Some people can be so possesive of their role lol


I love having a warrior who can peel off the healer. Turning my back to a pack of mobs to grab 1 who is chasing the healer is a terrible idea. Having 1 person in the group who can watch out for that and bring them back to me is a godsend.

Didn't you already quit because of the item shop?
You guys don't think its worth enchanting at lower levels? It is so cheap, tier 4 is 1.2g to get to +3, and now my priest has a weapon with +16% attack speed.

that said... I extract when I feel like it, vendor when I don't. I plan to eventually play with crafting, even if it is useless, and the vendor prices for most stuff feels incredibly low.
I hear that if you duel in areas like towns and camps, collision detection is either turned off or just wacky, and can really effect duels. Have you tried dueling out in open areas?
It does, each race has a few passives and an active or two. Elin and Popori share racials.

even the "hearthstone" is racial.
A person gets kicked over and over again for being rude and decides the problem is caused by enmasse?

It sounds to me like the system is working as intended
