Very eager to finally come back with the f2p news, but I'm unable to patch for some reason. As far as I get is Manifest unable to be downloaded or Download stalled. Why is this game unable to patch every time I come back to it? It keeps locking up at 98% -.-
Any insight on how to get things taken care of would be much appreciated.
It doesn't take three months of doing absolutely nothing. And they've had numerous people requesting they just use a pre-made forum software since they can't seem to get their act together on their own.
It's shameful that a supposedly professional grade company releases with a forum in this state. Even TOR had a better community setup than this and that's just pathetic.
Really? It must have gotten delayed forever then...
But no, Aion did not get major patches every 6 months. >__> 3.0 was the first *real* addition and that took how long to come out?
Bump.
So it's great we're getting QoA now, but this is all old news for people that have been following the game for years. What's going on with K-TERA? Terafans seems to have died in terms of updating any news, and I'm not really sure where else to go to find K-TERA news. :(
Anyway, point is, I haven't heard anything out of Korea but QoA for months and months, surely there has to be something else on the horizon to look forward to?
I remember in the Reddit AMA it was mentioned that Bluehole slowed down on content updates due to so much work with localizing the game for EU and NA, but that's been done, so... What's the word?
I don't want to see such a promising game turn into another Aion with 3+ years between any significant updates. :\
Avalonbright, are you a girl or a guy? The reason I want to know is because I want to ascertain your motives behind wanting a swimsuit. If you are female I can see why you wouldn't be THAT keen to get your hands on one.
? I'm female, and I AM extremely keen to get my hands on one.
Well, I have a problem with the fact you have absolutely zero idea how to quote things without taking up stupidly unneeded amounts of space and are contributing absolutely nothing but stinking up my topic with stupid Tumblr-quality gifs, and a problem with the fact EME's utter lack of forum competence means there's no way to ignore asinine trolls like you, but that's a bit off from the topic at hand. :)

You ignored the vital argument and replied with a fallacy. Cash shops exist for cosmetic items in even the most successful of MMO's, if you don't like it tough, they didn't have to make it an event to begin with
And you ignored the fact that holiday event items in literally every major p2p MMO ever made come packaged in as part of the game and a nice little surprise.
Not thrown in as part of another limited edition cash shop item you have to get NOW NOW NOW before it vanishes for good or until another year at the very least.
Nothings vanishing for good for those who want them and I hardly consider these items a "holiday item". They are another one of the more desirable, revealing outfits that the Tera audience would be willing to shell out some cash for and the first thing I would be putting in the cash shop if this was my company. Go start your own business mate and hopefully afterwards it will be as successful as this one after you start giving handouts to the unwashed masses.
Lol @ "giving handouts to the unwashed masses."
Because...all of these MMOs with holiday events are dropping like flies... Because of all things, they dared to not put holiday costumes in a cash shop instead of giving them as part of the season...in their game they're already getting $15/mo from.
Are you really that big of an obstinate fanatic for EME? Seriously?

I was actually replying to other peoples posts in this thread that were panicking because it was only going to last 30 days.
Some people are never happy, if you can't afford it then it will only last 30 days for you and that's the way it should be. You are lucky they even put them in an event so you could have them for even a brief amount of time. They could have just put them straight into the cash shop and be done with you poor [filtered]s.
Tough cookies basement dwellers.
The sign of being an adult is being able to see a product that you desire and still realizing that the reward does not outweigh the cost. Not simply frothing at the mouth like a fanboy and grabbing daddy's wallet or your last work study check and plunking down whatever your dear company requests.
But I'm sure you're right. We're probably all just poor.
