Though I'm not sure thats a bad thing actually.

It's not, it's a really good thing... that level zone you're referring to is the worst one in-game, i've currently got two friends I have to spend all my time helping in those zones so they don't [filtered] quit on me.

They've been signing in less and less and they are only at 55, I doubt theyll make it to 58 sadly...just like my original leveling buddies I met in dragonfall, they all quit through that zone, at least they gave me their leveling gold before saying goodbye. TERA revolves around endgame, so does the cash shop now and thats where EME will make their money.

Let people get 60 quickly and in a fun manner and theres only benefits to be had for EME.

Considering that they've done everything Ktera did... we're probably getting retarded bams.

Lets hope EME understands this change did nothing to benefit the game or their wallets, the difference with the cash shop is that their is money to be made making things more difficult to obtain, dumbing down BAMs has no visible increase in wallet girth coming their way.

What may scale up that wallet size is to remove XP loss for grouping and give good players a way to grind to max level quickly by grouping up and killing BAMs. The game is not fun to level in and providing this change will get a lot more people to max level, sooner they are max level, sooner they are buying [filtered] from the cash shop.

I dont disagree I just wanted the players to know that a full five man group is more effective then a solo player.

Atleast you agree the XP cut isn't needed, but honestly, i'd probably finish the island of dawn solo way faster than a 5 man group for example. There's not enough mobs and the mobs don't have enough health for them to efficiently keep up with me. Not to mention theyll be level 9 if they dont do Sorchas reckless challenge(which is something i dont need to do and is a waste of 8 minutes) and theyll barely be over level 10 if they do do it, then theyll need to grind mobs for 90% of a level at level 10 to get to level 11 to leave and this alone with the cut group XP will take like 30 minutes. Things like this continue onward for a long time, theres just not enough mobs with enough health to make a 5 man group efficient with the cut XP. Youre looking at solo from the perspective of a healer, i'm talking about solo as a slayer or zerk, and as a slayer or zerk I would never party with a healer, there's no benefit to me except lost xp because they kill slow and I kill fast.

Dont get hit with the balls? Pretty straight forward, also, pop whatever run speed boost you have.

I do agree some quality of life features would be nice. A few things I would like to address though

1. Grouping is faster then Soloing, you get less "mob" xp but equal quest XP, the speed of clearing and the additional "optional" non story linked zones that are thrown in allow for a group of five to clear content more then twice as fast as a solo player could. The optinal zones reward more then a solo player would get for soloing the other content. fact is 5 people grouping and lvling will get to 60 faster. The idea soloing is more effective is a myth. it takes longer to do less. this is an MMO where your "capable" of soloing, players just don't realize this.

5 man groups are not faster than solo'ing if they are, it's barely and hardly worth the effort, especially when you fall behind in levels and run out of quests to get the XP required to unlock certain story quests and whatnot. Not to mention many places don't have a high density of mobs, so youll be running around killing the mobs in a group and start waiting for them to respawn, all the while getting 1/4 the XP that you would get if you just killed them yourself, also because many mobs up until the higher levels can be killed in one combo, multiple people barely makes killing the mobs in the first place a lot faster.

However, even if somehow I 5 man group is faster than solo'ing, it's still not fun, it's still quest hub grinding but now you have more people so it's even more running around without breaks to just hit stuff. I think the non-split XP is sorely needed to speed up TERAs leveling, give BAMs a MAJOR role in the leveling process and provide a very fast alternative to questing to level up. People making alts have already experienced the story, they don't want to again, let them group up and grind BAMs to 60 relatively quickly.

I can show screenshots if you'd like? o. o I have no reason to lie, though my character is only lvl28 so I might not be in the most populated areas as lvl60's might.

That's the problem, get to level 60 zones/dungeons and youll feel the fps drop.

Lunaus those numbers seem awfully high, in an open area I can get easily 60 FPS but as soon as you go into an instance, mid fight in BGS or ZF when theres a decent amount of people I plop right down to 15-25.

Runespider they were already making enough money, also the cosmetics in the cash shop can easily sustain the game, especially when the playerbase dramatically increases in size due to a P2W free cash shop in an awesome F2P game.

You clearly don't know anything about people, people playing League of Legends don't "have to" spend money, heck, there's not even that big of an incentive, yet I personally know people who have dropped $500-1000 in League on cosmetics, not to mention it's also now the worlds largest PC game and probably most profitable.

So, do you really need P2W? Of [filtered] course you don't, please look at LoL and see what word of mouth and a sound business model can do.

Not sure what the problem is then.
You shouldn't be getting kicked out, you don't need a party, you can solo it if you want.

Are you sure you are entering from oblivion woods and everyone has a high enough item level?
