Welcome to the "online aspect" of video games. This is part of the reason why I stopped logging into Xbox Live to be honest. The internet is a place for people to practice boldness and (cowardly) release their "true" feelings. Most don't care if they are offensive or not.
There are functions in place that can be utilized to block/report such folk. My advice to you is to put these to good use.
When you guys say "up to" a certain percentage do you mean that ALL weapon skins (for example) will be discounted at 66% off or just selected few? The way it's presented sounds as if some items may be only discounted by 25% while others may be 50% and "up to" 66% off at the most.
This should have been a option as of yesterday. Is there really a legitimate excuse as to why this has not been implemented?
'Its fault of devs the absolute lacking of pvp existence' seriously tired of these posts already. Its NOT the dev's fault that pvp is dead, its the PLAYERS'. You cant just say that OWPVP is dead just because theres no 'reward' or 'motivation'. You don't need a reward to want to pvp, SIMPLY TURN ON YOUR OUTLAW AND KILL PEOPLE FOR THE SAKE OF KILLING PEOPLE. If you're not turning on your outlaw then you're contributing to the death of OWPVP. I heard back then that OWPVP was really active, and they dodn't even have rewards then, they just pvp for the sake of it.
I understand that one motivation for OWPVP was to claim a farming spot, but that obviously doesn't exist anymore becuase endgame is instanced. Still, that doesnt stop you from just stopping whatever you're doing and just roaming around with your outlaw on. Owpvp is decreasing because players are leaving, not necessarily the dev's fault, people just enjoy something for a duration of time until they get bored of it and leave.
Alliance was great. Every rules and just the system of it was almost perfect. It was the perfect thing for pvp, guilds being allied with each other and helping out another guild to win against others, but it obviously didn't turn out as good because one guild always stomped on another and it became unfair. Not the dev's fault. Honestly people have to look at the community's actions first before judging the devs.
And the hypocricy 'owpvp is dead but I still want my 2v2 arenas which are instanced'
Clearly not a well thought out post.
I have to respectfully disagree my friend on the point regarding the developers responsibility to OWPvP not being fair. The whole combat mechanics in this game is pretty silly because it's gear based. Not much skill required outside on EQBG's in regards to PvP. It comes down to gear/class while peripherial skill and coordination sadly take 3rd place. The combat system in this game is fun don't get me wrong but the only reason I still play is because of CS to be honest because it offers a broader sense of 'fairness'.
Sorry but being 1-shotted by a level 60 character while leveling a level 20 something character is not very fair or fun nor is the fact that a level 60 can 1-shot a undergeared level 60. Very poor game mechanics if you ask me.
This change looks fairly reasonable to me though it's kinda sad that equalised fraywind is going. That was much better than CS as it actually required PvP skills but that's just my opinion.
I bet we're gonna see a bunch of QQ threads about premades in fraywind now. Maybe if ebg made some sort of comeback after all the qq threads...
Anyways, long live Fraywind Canyon! \o/
Regarding equalized BG's, what you are saying is factual. It does require more skill. I personally consider it futile to completely remove the equalized FC instance. People will no doubt just get steamrolled by premade groups in the revised version of FC and will in fact complain about it. I personally will just avoid FC altogether until I have my complete set of SF gear or until I quit playing Tera. Whatever come first I guess.
After reading your guild info, my interest in Apostles has peaked. Please send me a /tell in game letting me know what I have to do to join. I have a friend who is a level 60 Preist who may be interested as well.
This guild still active? Send me a tell if you are looking for a PvP Zerker. I also have a friend who is a Preist who may be interested as well. We both have mics and pretty much do nothing but BG's.
BHS/EME have ruined FC from what some people say. EQ FC has never been active from my experience and normal FC rarely pops either anymore.
