The point is that you would at least have a chance. Success in PvP should come down to who can better utilize the keyboard and mouse, not the class who has the most CC's or the player who has spent countless hours grinding gear that does the work for them.
For one, PVP is simply a player fighting a player, even if one gets 1 shot that's still PVP. And yes, games need stuns/cc. If stuns/cc didn't exist, tanky healers would rule every MMO from here to Mars. Break stun on damage does what exactly? Stops them from moving for a couple seconds? Half a second? The reason why sleeps break on damage is because those sleeps are given to support characters who generally don't need to do damage. Stuns/cc are required in games to slow down/stop the bulldozer/major healing classes in games. Or the ones that run around a lot. I played several MMOs where if cc's weren't there I would never die, ever. Neither would anyone else. Crowds are gonna kill you if you're stunned or not.

I have Windows 8 and Tera runs fine on it. I use chrome all the time and it works better than IE for browsing the Tera website because it actually saves my user/pass info unlike IE. Im not sure what to tell you. Have you tried repairing the client?
Yeah the Tapatalk threads seem to disappear for some strange reason. When are you going to activate this EME? It cost you NOTHING...
I asked for this sometime before Tera even released. I'm not sure why they haven't activated it yet. The European forums have done so already.

That's really sad and that's the exact reason why I refuse to put in that kind of time into grinding gear. Success in PvP should be about you can better utilize the keyboard and mouse, oppose to being about the guy who spends 12 hours a day grinding out gear. It should always come down to player skill and not class, CC, or even gear.
I will stick with lower level world PvP until equalized BG's come back or until a better MMO releases. Preferably one that at least caters somewhat to PvP.
Yeah I like the idea behind the combat. It makes me sad that the combat is ruined by the profound number of staggers, stuns, and knockdowns. Every pvp encounter in the BGs today has consisted of not being able to play my character while being stunned/staggered/KDed from 100-0. Glad I recently farmed up this conjunct gear so I can still die without being able to even use any abilities, just die a tiny bit slower.

Zerks are fine in my opinion. The problem is that this game is gear/CC based oppose to skill based. The combat is fun so I personally will continue playing while I wait for ESO and Blade and Soul because there is nothing better on the market at the moment as far as combat is concerned.
