If Bluehole wants to cater to specific markets so much, then show some love for NA/EU. It's not all elins/chibis/kawai desu desu/whatever-the-[filtered] for us.

I will illustrate how it happens, and it should shed some light into the matter:
1 - You press Axe Block while it is still on cooldown (whether it is due to lag, or the situation below, doesn't matter)
At this point, one of two things happen:
2a) You keep holding Axe Block but nothing happens
2b) You notice Axe Block didn't activate, so you release the button (this happens in the fraction of a second)
3 - Axe Block seems to go into a global cooldown when you release it - at least client side - whether it was actually active or not, so trying to press it immediately after releasing the button will return you to the situation 1.
The sollution is simple:
- Relax
- Don't spam the button
I'm actually serious :)
BiggsTobacco on 04/16/2013, 07:25 AMLet's say you buy $100 package of EMP, giving you 13,200 EMP. That gives you 132 EMP per dollar spent.
An appearance change costs 990 EMP, or $7.50.
The Nitemare mount costs 2750 EMP, or $20.
Those prices are reasonable (I've seen cash shop mounts in other games are priced higher), but most people won't buy the $100 EMP package.
If you buy the $20 EMP package, you're getting 121 EMP for each dollar you spend. In this case, an appearance change costs you $8.18 in real money. The mount costs you $22.73 in real money.
Again, not unreasonable.
Apply Elite discounts on top of that, and you're sitting pretty.
If an EMP allowance were to exist, they would do it so that you could hardly buy anything without needing additional EMP to complete the purchase.
I have been known to screw up even simple math, so if I'm wrong, please let me know! :)
I have no disagreement with this over all. What I have been wondering about is what other people buy with their EMP.
Me? I generally buy spellbind and extensive alk, pets and some loot boxes. All for personal consumption though, I don't sell my EMP generally. I will help guildies out but not the general public. I guess I just don't need the gold that badly....or maybe I'm just being dumb and should sell that stuff on the TB but I don't think I'm alone in this.
Oh, and I don't think the CS or the price of EMP is unreasonable.
