Mindlessly do quests and que up for instances to level cap. At cap you either can do pvp bgs or do end game instances. It follows the themepark formula to a T.

If that is good or bad is completely up to you.

"Skill based" is completely subjective. Monster Hunter is a amazing example. Someone who is new or only played for a few years would say this game requires huge amounts of skill. Where someone who been playing MH for over a decade would often say "Monster hunter is simply iframe abuse, no skill required".

Both opinions are right sense they are opinions. Learning the game takes skill but when you mastered MH's iframes its actually quite easy.

I feel TERA is quite similar to this. As someone who is new to TERA and MH, this game will prove challenging. But someone who been playing this sort of games for a decade could see TERA as simplistic and easy iframe abuse.

To put all this in perspective, I recently talked to a player with multiple level cap characters. He tried to convince me that TERA has zero iframes in it (I had to explain what iframes were to him first off). So to someone like him who never learned core mechanics of this genre, yes this game has a massive skill cealing.

Simply put: Subjective opinion is subjective.

EDIT: As for my own opinion, my answer would be No. Although TERA has different concepts to learn compared to WoW or Rift. I feel that even a player who is general unskilled at games can do decently well TERA PVE. They will learn the basic concepts and be able to play at a reasonable speed.
