I use a wired Xbox 360 controller and once I got used it everything has been wonderful.
I can play a normal session without my hands hurting. This is especially important since 90% of my job has me typing.
As for the USB thing with the wireless countrollers:
You have to have the adapter. The charging cable will not work (thats why Im using a wired controller). The choice was a 50 dollar adapter or a 30 dollar controller...
I tend to be pretty apathetic about the RP too. The only reason I joined an RP server is because a bunch of my friends play here. Its not bad. Not bad at all.
The curious part about this is that it seems to remember what channel you were on when you log in and out. I've had that happen too.
So why can't it just remember what channel you were/ are on all the time?
Because many mystics came before you and did it just fine. Myself included.

I'm not blaming the game for me being low on health. When you solo you're going to take damage. I'm okay with that.
Bandages are great when you're near their level, not so much when you're a level or two UNDER the next bandage. I know, I've tried it. 1530 HP is nothing when I need 8k to get back to full health.
The gathering trick is also nice, however you shouldn't -have- to gather. You're playing to kill stuff and level, not collect ore or plants or whatever. Yes, its in your interest to do so, and I do, but its not always enough.
I never said potions were a pain to get, merely that you should not have to use them out of combat to get your health back.
As for those of you that pointed out the time thing: You're right. A minute or two here and there aren't a big deal, but a few minutes turns into a few hours pretty quickly. Crafting will kill time for a few of those. That is until you run out of bag space or mats. Skipping the campfire altogether is also an option. Sure, but why would you ever turn down free buffs? That's stupid on its own.
And if Health regen isn't something campfires do then they SHOULD do that. My entire point was that out of combat regen is too slow. Yes, there are things you can do to mitigate it, but that doesn't change that its too slow.
