BrokenInSilence's Post History

I'm so sick and tired of the doom and gloom threads, the QQ threads, the my mommy didn't pay enough attention to me or tell me I'm special threads.

I think this game is great! I love the combat, I love the graphics, and I love the progression of my characters.

So many people rush to the level cap and complain that there's nothing to do while others are still making their way there. So many pick at everything wrong about a game instead of praising what is right.

Tired of not being able to get into an instance when you want because of the lack of tanks? Make one. Befriend one. Quit your [filtered]ing. There's so much to do in the game beyond instances.

Any group content I've done so far I've done both with and without a tank. I definitely love having a tank to help out but all things are possible without one too if you take the time to think about what you're doing rather than just plowing through every bit of content you can.

Enjoy the journey. It's beautiful. It's fun. We'll all reach the same destination sooner or later.
Hi. I don't have any higher level characters yet. My highest are in their low 30's. From what I've seen though it is an active community with people looking for groups for various things all the time.

The community itself is pretty good. Of course we have our trolls but for the most part, people are very nice and helpful.

Hope to see you here and best of luck!
Thank you everyone for the PM's. I've been teaming with someone who is an amazing player and we've been going strong! At this rate we'll be 60 in no time!
Greetings players of Dragonfall. I've leveled two characters (a priest and a sorcerer) to their low 30's and quite honestly have gotten bored. Not that there isn't anything to do, on the contrary, there's plenty to do. I just fine playing alone except for the occasional group quest to be uninspiring.

I'm looking for a leveling partner. Someone who wants to make a new friend and level from 1 to 60 together. When not playing together, ideally we'd play alts and not touch the characters we have together.

I'm on the east coast and am usually around from 8:00 pm to around 1:00 am eastern time (weekends may be a little different) with some smoke breaks thrown in along the way. I'm in my late 30's and would prefer to be playing with someone my own age so that we have common ground beyond just the game.

As mentioned above, I already have a priest and a sorcerer. I'm willing to play a lancer, mystic, or slayer. My preference would be the lancer so we always have a tank and don't have difficulty getting group content done.

If interested, please leave a reply here or send me a private message.

Thanks Aeuyarsa. I honestly didn't even see it. I just figured the blue text was quoting so skipped over it.

Hi.

I'm currently on a different PvE server and it is flooded with priests and mystics. I'm considering moving to SI and have a handful of questions.

1) How is the server community overall?
-its good, running around people are mostly willing to join you during quests
1a) How is the economy?
- prices keep getting pushed down mostly because theres so many people but stuff is decently priced for the most part, I seem to be able to make decent money each day.
1b) How is the general maturity level?
- haven't caught to many trols as of yet but theres still time for them to grow I guess :)

2) What is the tank to healer ratio?
- I've heard both sides, not enough tanks, and looking for healers, I think you'd fit well here.
2a) Is it easy to get a group for 5 person quests as a priest?
- There seems to be some complaints about people having trouble with BAM quests with other guilds not being helpful. However in <legacy> we do our best to help each other out even if that means a lvl 40 comes to help a lvl 20 finish a bam quest, by taking a break for 30 mins to help them out :)
2b) Is it easy to get a group for an instance as a priest?
- I think so.

Thanks and maybe I'll be seeing you all shortly.

If you come over, let me know if you want a guild our goals for this game are stated here.

In short we believe this:

Real Life > Tera

But we also like to work hard and be at the top tier of play as well.

Thanks, I'll give it a look. In the meantime, can you let me know about my questions? I need to know if it's worth it to bring my priest here or if I'll be in the same boat as I am now.

Hello future gaming friends!

I know there are several threads about this but I don't see anything definitive or at least anything definitive that I can truly wrap my head around.

In every MMO I have played I have been a healer of some sort. I've played Paladin, Druid, and Priest in WoW. Archmage in Warhammer. Cleric and Chanter in Aion. Cleric in Rift.

Of all of them, my favorite was probably my Chanter in Aion followed by my Archmage in Warhammer. The Chanter seemed to be versatile, wanted in groups, and did fairly well in PvP and soloing PvE and the Archmage was just plain fun.

Questions:

I understand in Tera clothies can be one shot in PvP but which will ultimately have the better survivability in PvP and PvE? I intend to play on a PvE server (most likely Dragonfall or Serpentis Isle) but plan on doing some PvP as well.

Which class will be able to solo their way to level cap easier?

Most importantly, which class will have an easier time getting a group both while leveling and at level cap?

I haven't played any of the betas but did just pre-order and want to make my character while we can still do early character creation.

Thanks in advance for your input!
